Áron's playing is impressive. And props to Richard Bona for encouraging him and giving him the spotlight. Wonderful to see that kind of kindness and generosity in an established artist. Speaks to his confidence and qualities as a person and professional.

The look on his face is amazing. I can’t imagine being a parent and watching something like that. Life changing moment he’ll remember forever.

Yeah, The basic Chicken riff isn't that difficult finger-wise but it's easy to lose your place if you don't concentrate. This kid has it all on point and can keep it going for as long as he needs. that's impressive at such a young age.

I have a new favorite bass player, Richard Bona. He made 8 yr old Áron Hodek feel comfortable on stage, and his smile is contagious. You just see/feel the positive energy emanating from this man.

I love watching videos like this... It's wonderful to see accomplished musicians take time with kids and to nurture their creativity.... I can't help but wonder if they honestly realize the positive impact they're having on these kids lives.... It's a blessing for me to watch..

I always tell people one of the greatest gift you can give a child . Is introducing them to MUSIC!!!!!!

It's nice to see humility, generosity and encouragement from a seasoned musician to a very young and talented one.

It was a pleasure watching this! I loved the little smiles Aron had while playing. It’s obvious he and the rest of the band were having fun. So Aaron is eleven now. Gonna check out YT for more current stuff.

Richard Bona's smile and positive energy when he plays amazing bass grooves and solos is a gift to all of us. The kid is also very skilled and had so much fun on bass. What a wholesome video!

Very impressed with Richard the way he helped the kid get started and didn’t blow him away. Richard is genius. He helped the boy stay on tempo measure by measure.

Richard Bona gladly lets Áron take the spotlight and plays second "fiddle". He probably has more fun watching Áron play than playing himself. The man has no ego. As good a bass player as he is, he might be a better person. That's the nicest compliment I can give the man.

**Nice one, years back, i tried learning the bass guitar without success** seeing this little kid play bass reminds me of those day. Keep it up boy!

Oh Holy Mother of God & all that is talent in this world. Geez Louise...I teach & yes, I am sure that this young one (who's age doesn't matter) could teach me a thing or 2...continue to come from the heart...always. Having played for about 20 years, and having played this tune about 11.4 trillion times, this damn kid is almost better than me at it. He can't have been playing more than, what, 3 years?
