Exactly. When I wear my Nirvana t-shirt, I wear it for myself. I don't wear it to try and get the attention of the opposite sex.

You are out of your mind. I wasn’t brave enough to wear a Hawaiian shirt, but I got one this summer - a relaxed fit in blue and orange, which I wear with a beige tapered linen trouser and espadrilles or adidas gazelles. Ive never received so many compliments from random women.

Yes and that’s the point this Ashley with her weird opinions doesn’t understand… If your outfit is good or not depends on you and on how comfortable you are wearing it… You could have a really expensive and nice suit but if you don’t feel well wearing it you’ll look much worse than someone who’s rocking casual clothing with a lot confidence…

What’s some of your favorite bands to wear? I like a lot of thrash and black metal bands (sepultura,dissection) , but I hate the stupid edgy things the shirts say on the back sometimes like “hail Satan” or something like that lmao

My life got better when I stopped trying to control the impressions others form about me. In addition, my interactions with people in general and women in particular improved. Better women seem to be able to spot a phony miles away. My life goes better when I be myself. Aloha shirts are great, especially when they fit correctly. They work well if you are trying to conceal a firearm or a medical device on your person.

I thought Ashley was pro-Hawaiian shirt, depending on the pattern and how it’s worn. I don’t wear them myself, but Hawaiian shirts are kind of cool in the context of Summer events (beach vacation, golfing, fishing, etc). They pair great with light chinos or chino shorts.

Look lady I’m not wearing plaid and solid grey/black/blue/olive every day for the rest of my life 😂 The nice quality graphic tees are staying. There are tons of really nice looking, simplistic, just all around cool graphics out there. Tan joggers, a good graphic tee, a simple necklace, and some high top Nike’s will always be a good look

I agree. People should wear what ever they want to wear. If the fashion police is having a problem with it it's their problem. You wear your clothes for you and not for others. But there are of course situations that requires a certain dress code. Business meetings, weddings, job interviews etc. Wear your wardrobe with confidence and stop worrying about breaking fashion rules. Be an individual.

I just bought a couple of Ralph Lauren Hawaiian shirts, I’m a grown up man, and I wear whatever I want.

So we can't wear Hawaiian shirts, but she wants me to buy an overpriced plaid shirt that I could get at Walmart for 8 bucks.

When a fashion “expert” on KZread tells me not to do something, it is my job to give it a try!

You don’t have to shop at J. Crew, Ralph Lauren, or Brookes Bothers because she likes this “classic Americana” look. The only real fashion advice (clothing wise) you should take to heart is, there’s a time and place for different clothing selections. But really the most fashionable thing you can have is confidence.

Don’t tell me how to dress. I’ll wear whatever I want.

Half of my clothes are neon, or bright pink, or clown vomit level of patterning. Hawaiian shirts are a part of American culture and will always have a place. Men’s camp shirts are starting to trend (again) and are naturally oversized. Bright colors look good on certain skin types. And western shirts are dope and staring to trend hard because of shows like Yellowstone. So basically you don’t know anything about men’s fashion.

One thing that sets MOST men apart from woman’s style is that we don’t put to much thought about other’s thoughts about our look. As long as it’s COMFORTABLE and WE like it that’s 95% of our logic UNTIL the wife/girlfriend butts in lol

While I enjoy most of your videos that come across my feed, I find it ironic you are speaking about how unfashionable oversized shirts are, while wearing a blose that seems to be oversized. You kind of look like a girl playing dress up from her mom's closet. However, I agree with most of the information in this video.

I just have to point this out, because I find it hilariously ironic… You’re speaking on the oversize shirt trend suggesting it’s a really bad idea and yet wearing an oversized shirt that could fit two of you. I know you’re speaking in general about men’s style here… But its rather hilarious. I do really love a lot of your videos because they have some pretty sound advice… But I wonder sometimes. 😂

the oversided tshirt trend only really works on dudes who go the the gym who's shoulders always look to large in a regular fit shirts even the larger size ones as the 'oversides shirts alot of the time just have larger shoulders while maintaining normal height and shape

As I've always said. Someof these style channels generalize People and put them in a box and really just give the things that they themselves personally Like or personally dislike. One does not equal all. We all like DIFFERENT things. Not all women Like the same things, not all women hate the same things and the same things go for some men. You just have to stay in your lane and worry about what YOU like to wear or would you like to do and make it clear that it is YOUR list and not generalize people. Most of these fashion videos should just stay with the look books instead of giving list on what "People Dont like or how they look stupid" ❤👍

Not giving up my Tommy Bahama shirts, sorry. I don’t wear them in lieu of fitted dress shirts but for casual wear I’m all in. Fashion police or no.

As a High School teacher I have a ton of school and teacher t's but I like the idea of not wearing them all the time. School uniform for work, style for other times (I will of course wear them at school too. I don't' always wear school t's).

It doesn’t matter what you wear just be yourself you can wear anything you want. Don’t let anyone tell you what to wear just be your guises selves.

I'm a woman and I agree. I don't like women like this, they're irritating. I have been a gothic/victorian fashion since I was 12, I'm 29. Hell, my daughter is 1 year old now. Before getting pregnant I was still wearing stuff I wore in high school. I went from a size 5 to a size 8 and stayed around that, so now I had to start buying new clothes, but honestly I even hate buying new clothes for seasons, If I like something I'll buy it, but I'll always wear it if I can fit in it. I have personality style, not season style or social style. I think everyone should do the same.

Of course timeless means timeless within our modern socioeconomic frame and understanding of clothing, not seen as fashionable stretching arbitrarily far backwards and forwards in time, which we know a priori to be impossible. Are you the type to literally stretch out and offer someone your hand when someone asks you for a hand?

I used to avoid tanktops and oversize shirts. Started wearing them 2 years ago and never have been more popular with the ladies. I'm 27, at a European University for context. Tanktop = showing of my gymbody, men like cleavage and short skirts. So why wouldnt girls like something that shows a lot of skin? Oversized tshirt makes you look broader and more relaxed.

Yes, as a female I can attest to this lol. Tanks are very sexy, as are oversized tees. Personally, I find a classic cut tee looks very generic and unless the guy is exceptionally attractive (and even then) it's very 'meh'. When I see a guy wearing the examples she gave here that were 'acceptable' I tend to think the guy doesn't have much creative flare or artistic inclination, which is something I value. To each their own I guess lol.

Honestly I am into fashion and fragrance that sort of topic. The first thing that I will mention or ask to people that want my opinion or advice is if they like it. I know it’s important to dress good for a lover,friends, or family. But if they genuinely respect you and your taste of course they will be honest but the main reason you wear something is because you like it and it makes you feel good, happy, and confident. That is so important in this world of opinions, opinions, and ideas. Just dress like yourself and if you want to wear a plain black t and blue jeans or a 10,000 dollar Tom ford suit. Clothing and fragrances is not just that simple. Nowadays it can be a very personal and creative art form that can be a fine extension to your being. Because of this that industry can be very toxic and overwhelming. Just be yourself.

I get compliments all the time wearing Hawaiian shirts... her floral quip is off base Hawaiian shirts used to be typically floral I wear what catches my eye and I have a good eye for style Hawaiian style shirts sr for beating the heat so over size breathes well I wear what few will I'm confident in myself and people see that. Of course I wear classic style as well As Armani style low One button suits Unconstructed light weight for summer wear It's all in the drape and the way it frames you

Could you imagine if a man had to tell how a women how to dress, regardless of his fashion background and knowledge?!?!? Shut the door on culture appropriation, especially on clothing? If your feeling the style, then wear it. And with little reference if need be.😮

Gym socks, tennis shoes and shorts are the way to go

Not just Asians. Heck the entire cast of Friends pulled it off for nearly a whole decade. Oversized is perfectly fine for relaxed and casual looks. Important to walk the line between stylishly oversized and flat out too big though. You want to look relaxed, not like you borrowed your dad's shirt. Sadly the examples in this vid do look like the latter, they are far too big. Gives late 80s Hispanic gangster vibes and you do not want that 😂

Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together ,it was a really bad phase but we got through it

there is a lot of sense in what you just said and I hope mine works the same way too, we are currently separated but I cant live without her, I love her so much. wish I can get her back I can do anything to have her back, we have tried therapy amongst other things

totally disagree on oversized shirts, a good drop shoulder tee that's the right length but has a boxy silhouette looks great in my opinion, and not sloppy at all as long as it's done right.

Disagree completely with Hawaiian shirts.. they can look great… and if you’re in a band, cowboy shirts can work perfectly as well… and not just a country band… otherwise I’ll agree

Agree on Hawaiian, like at 1:54 .

This is the best promotion video I've seen this year so far. Also I understand the pure fact that the title expicably say "men", but i feel the need to point out, that alot of times Ashley complains about baggy or oversized items, which contradicts the observation i had, which is that she is wearing a shirt which would still count as an oversized fit for an elephant. Thanks for reading.

Fabric, design and fit are key factors with Hawaiian style shirts. Getting the right look takes knowledge, taste and confidence. The cheapest stuff will definitely make you throw up in your mouth. The best ones are spendy and from authentic, classic makers. Do your homework, take your time and prepare to spend some money.

I don't give a hoot what women think about my, "fashion sense." I wear what I like, whether women like it or not.😂

I think oversized looks so good. Even the example pics used were sick as hell (with the exception of the tank top guy)
