All summer long I wear cargo shorts, usually with a drawstring waist, some kind of shirt from a concert or some kind of national state park that I've been to and usually Hawaiian shirt over that. And I get compliments from women that I'd rather talk to then, this twerp. Lol.

Although I've never really been unlucky when it comes to getting the attention of attractive women, I don't think it really has anything to do with what I'm wearing. But, some of the compliments do happen to be about the band on my t-shirt or specific questions about national parks. So if you're attempting to laugh at me, well, I'm the one laughing! Lol I'm also the one with lipstick stains on the color of my shirts. Lmao! And I don't wear lipstick.

I live near the beach, bucket hats are a necessity. Bonus, at 60 years old, I’m in better shape than any man you know. Peace.

I don’t wear any of these and would add sport jersey, unless you are at the game. I don’t want to walk around with someone else’s name on my back. I don’t want to walk around with my name on my back. I don’t think you should wear shorts in the city, unless you are headed to the gym or out for a run. Shorts should only be worn at the beach or at a tropical resort. With respect to belts they should not be worn with a suite. They break the line of a suite. With a suit the paints should have either side adjusters or braces (no clip on suspenders)

When someone who most likely carries a purse around wonders why I want extra pocket space.... Well, I guess I could keep all of my stuff in a fanny pack. That's fashionable, right? Yeah, I'm not gonna fit my keys, wireless headphones, smartphone, wallet, gun, knife, and eye glass cloth in small ass chino pockets.

Best thing about growing old is that i don’t care what anybody think about what i wear. Don’t like what I’m wearing, don’t look.

If I'm going to a metal show, I'm wearing my band shirts and cargo shorts.

I definitely agree with what you said about worn out jeans, partially because I've never understood why you'd buy something that was already worn out. Especially if it's more expensive.

Okay for most on the list, but hard disagree on cargo shorts (or pants). They’re too practical. Yes, this video is about fashion, but too many viewers are likely to take these as blanket recommendations.

Don't fret, classy styling isn't for everyone.

Agree with all but the first two. Henley shirts look great, as long as you’re athletic, the shirt is form-fitting, and long sleeved. As for cargo shorts...sorry ladies, we don’t wear these for you. They are pinnacle of functional practically, and I will have at least one pair in my wardrobe until I die. For doing yard work, building things, camping, there is no substitute. That said, I won’t be wearing them to a garden party, or to the antique store with the Mrs, but when things need to get done, the cargo shorts come on.

I think there is a place for the right bucket hat especially if you live where it sunny. I walk my dog and walk to the pool with mine but it is well shaped and the brim is not too large

I saw a guy today at the outlet stores wearing crocs, jean shorts, a tank top, and a bucket hat. I said to myself , that guy needs to buy some new clothes today. Hopefully he did I agree with all your wardrobe tips except for ........the cargo shorts. I love cargo shorts. Keeps you wallet, keys, cellphone, pocketknife, etc. in a nice handy place. I admit I own a few of them and have for years, they are rugged and timeless imo

Wore flip flops one time at a grocery then some nut bumped me with a grocery cart, its wheel hit my toe and its nail broke and was injured for days. Since then, I always wear crocs for quick chores for more protection. Crocs rock!

I would think that if you paid for it and you wear it, then it's acceptable regardless of the situation. I think anyone that would pay so much attention to what someone else is wearing, and then possibly even scoff at it probably has too high opinion of herself, in which case she is worthy of my distain. I've got no time for that nonsense. Got shit to do with the things that I carry around with me and my cargo pants.

My dad told me that he wears these stuff to fool people of thinking he is poor, just so he don't have to deal with them.

If it’s hot out and I am going to a ‘function’ then YES, I’ll put on a pair of Chino shorts. If not, cargo shorts it is. Those pockets get used young lady. You ask “What are you going to put in those pockets, anyway?” Men can ask women the same thing about their purses, “What are you going to put in there, anyway?”

I almost always agree with you, Ashley! One thing I disagree with, something you said in an earlier vid: Motorcycle leather jacket for older guys. There's a few very neutral and slick models out there by Aero Leathers and Schott. No frills, just very clean and simple. Pure elegance!

Hey Ash, I agree with everything accept for the belt buckle. I live in Texas so it's allowed here. Plus, you can't have a big gut and wear a "gut cutter" so women instantly know you have nice abs. Girls will always dig lean cowboys, maybe not in California but definitely here in Texas!

Tank tops are a must when it's hot. I ain't giving them up.

After much research, i've come to the conclusion that to be fashionable- the trick is to be really, really good looking.

Where imma put my cargo

I'm a 54 yo American of Irish heritage....I wear kilts more often than not. When I'm not, it's jeans, plain t's, leather boots and jacket. Other than my kilts...90% of my clothes come from the thrift store.

This's a list i stand behind %100! Coincidentally, before watching this video, i saw 2 guys today wearing jeans shorts, i said to my self: my god, those are ugly!

Most of the guys in the video have great fit body type. But what about those in plus size and probably men that developed man boobs and belly. Kind of discriminating if you ask me.

Totally just unsubbed. Did you really just knock on Cargo shorts? Now I have both based on the needs but Men do need cargos from time to time. We carry so many items that 4 pockets aren't enough. A majority of the recommendations seems to be focused on the Wall Street look or Designer fashion trends. A few items on the list I agreed with as far as style but some items are ideal for functionality. Timeless fashion is better but once in a while you need to take a risk and experiment with fashion. Go to NYC in SOHO and you'll see many not doing what is here.
