I’m started mines and I use holding spray to let it stay down and just put oil n scalps every time I wake up in the morning every 2 days on scalps then wait 1week then do it again

Yeah I twist with my hands all the time, palm rolling, I normally do that on longer hair though

Good video, only thing is that conditioner CAN be detangling which obviously doesn’t help the locking process although some aren’t. Nevertheless this video is fairly informative and very useful for beginners.

Mr Boss I completely agree with you, conditioner is meant to detangle. Conditioners that are a big no no are cantu or basically any thick leave in conditioners

My clients come in for a light wash every two weeks, in between they have anti itching products to use at home

I got my locs a few days ago.... And the ones in the back are already coming out a lil but I just twisted them back up

Mo yes that can happen it’s Locs, especially after sometime. He plays football so he sweats a lot and also putting product on your hair can cause that regularly deep cleansing tour Locs definitely helps with buildup

Nook Nook you should treat dreadlocks the same way you treat your regular hair because it is still your hair. It can get dry if it is not taken care of. Leave in spray moistures and you should always moisturize and seal it

I've got my dreads retwisted three times and they still keep coming loose😢..

My durag fell off while I was asleepThis is my first set of locs so I have kinda of meticulous should I worry and go back to my barber for them to fix it right away or will it be ok for me to wait 2 weeks cause my left side is all frizzy flat and unraveling but every where else looks fine.

If they are unraveling You should go back to get the left side redone so all of your locs can loc at the same time.. and don’t worry about them being fizzy it’s apart of the process bro.

Vag0 it depends on the person’s curl pattern. If a person has 4c kinky curly hair the hair will lock much fast so most likely a few months. If the hair is more 3c or 4a which is more curly than kinky, then they will have to do the two week appointments longer. I hope that answered your question

@@SashaFearless Hi Sasha, yeah palm rolling makes the loc so much smoother and more even through out. I like to wrap the loose hairs around the loc too before i start palm rolling. Just try it and let me know! No i don't have locs but my husband does and i've started his and i'm maintaining them too. I've been a doing locs for over 7 years now. 😁
