    I just did starter locs on my son’s head about an hour ago and it turned out great. I always retwist locs but never start them. I got two heads on starter locs that I have to do so far already 😂

    @@nafisahjackson7992 I parted them smaller in the middle to look like more instead of less lol..get this he now wants hair added. I'm gonna add hair this weekend. Hopefully I can find this thread and come back and let you know how it turns out

    My 14yr old wants locs on top of hair only. Don’t want to pay for him to get his hair done, so I’m here to learn how to get started. I learned to knit using KZread and that was one of the hardest things to learn. If I can do that I can learn to start his locs. Praying I came to the right video!! Edit (5 mins after starting video): I’m already in love with this tutorial. Simple n straight to the point 💜💜!

    My son wants his only on top too! His sides and back are tapered down and he has about 4 inches of hair on top. About to start them now…so here goes. I’d like to know how you guys sons styles turned out?

    I just started having starter locs 3 days ago. I maintain them by using Argan Oil Foaming Mousse and Oil Sheen everyday when I wake up. I also sleep with a durag and bonnet. What kind of hair growth oil should I use on my starter locs?

    Wow this was an EXECELLENT video. I have comb twists/ coils with sides and back shaved. I wish I did not shaved them. I loved the results ad a protective style. Until I decide if I want to lock or not.

    I have this type of hair, but how do you know when you have enough for starter loc mini's? I've been growing mine for four months and it looks similar to his, it's thick and I can grip it. But I don't know if it's enough for a loctician to grip. I'm thinking about waiting four more months.

    Ok ,hello. I have a question, and my question is, I hear some hairstylist say that we shouldn't use gel because it can cause build up, but I see you use a lot of it (not judging you). Can you tell me if not gel then what's best because I have very thick and tight coily hair and I want to start a loc journey but WITHOUT THE BUILD UP. So what should I do
