I agree with staying away from a h610 board. B660 is a way better option, better power delivery even with a budget cpu. The 1070ti vs 5600xt - one thing the AMD card is pci 4.0 so it will have another advantage there. One other thing to note, case fans and the operating system (if necessary) will add a hair to the price along with taxes. Love the video man, very informative!

I mean i used h610 with i5 12600k for months with a 3090 without issues the limiting factors I saw were it will only support 3200 mhz ram. The motherboard doesn't have any rgb headers that normal at that tier of motherboard and with my motherboard I had to add wifi myself but I got the motherboard for $40 on mercari.. Also Btw Love you buddy. I have upgraded since to b660m board recently.

good video it still shocks me that a i3 12100 can compete with a i9 10900k in gaming performance it is the best gaming cpu on a tight budget no doubt

Thank you! Yeah it is my favorite budget cpu by far.

I would go 10100f/10100/10105 used for $40 and then get a 1080 ti/rx6600/rtx 3060 at $160 to $200 used. on the motherboard I would go b560 with wifi for $50 to $60 used RIght now there is Z490 on Woot for $50 that good option too. On the Case I would go Montech Air X with 3 rgb fans on ebay for $60. i would go mp33 1tb for $50 this my changes of one i3 10100f lists .

Yeah thats another amazing option, the more used parts the cheaper you can get, I just tried my best to use as few used as possible because getting used parts a gamble at times.

@@LegitCamelRetro it just as risky as buying new parts since they can come doa or if the builder is new they could damage the parts and then they would be out parts and money. I have spent a ton on used parts to the point where I prefer it for when I am building for resale. Always research the people you buy from check reviews on them make sure they haven’t had bad ratings. The other day I recently I tried buying rx 570 8gb on eBay it show with ibuypower quality control bag with red writing label saying bad and the card would not display or allow the computer to post at all.
