@@eyez587 Maybe for some shots. The angles and locations the camera are in would be too sketchy for a drone to hover in. Not to mention the variety of focal lengths in many of the shots and the depth of field is far to shallow to be a drone. Perhaps the more open shots are the drone. Otherwise, my bet is that he really did have to set up the tripod shots and go back to get afterwards. Xander is a man after Les Stroud.

The skills to plan the trip, know how long it will take, know what you need, know how to make a fire, camp, fish, prepare fish, take video, process the video, do time lapses, and share your experience. Very motivational, very talented, this is just my opinion. I'm sure others share this opinion too.

It's super interesting to me when you highlight the sorta existential aspect of these trips and these videos. There's something about being isolated in that nature that points out how vulnerable we are as individuals. Separated from civilization we aren't much of anything, the strength of humans really comes from that collective our ability to do things in numbers but along the way we lose that perspective of how much smaller we are on the grander scale. Really gets the mind moving especially with your eye for cinematography.

Laying here nursing a broken collarbone and so glad I can watch your videos Xander. Got out in the woods a little bit today and found some chicken of the woods and Bears head mushroom, and finishing it off with this video really made a great day. Thank you

Once again you roll out another hour of enjoyment. You bring us into areas we can no longer access ourselves due to health and age and allow us to, once again, live the lifestyle. As always, you travel with humor, fun and without complaints when the going gets tough. You're a joy to watch and we'll keep watching as long as you keep filming.
