For some mothers and their babies, breastfeeding comes easily and naturally from the very beginning. But more often than not, breastfeeding can be a big challenge and a new skill for both you and your baby to learn.
I’m sharing 8 different breastfeeding positions to help you find a good position that’s more comfortable for you and your little one. It’s great to be familiar with several positions because rotating between them allows the baby to draw milk from different milk ducts, helping you to avoid a clogged duct or mastitis. Play around with these different breastfeeding positions. With practice, you’ll soon figure out which ones work best for you and your baby.
