Anybody heard of the One-77?🤔

The 2007 DBS is one of the best looking cars of all time for me and the whole package is the perfect GT.

V8 Vantage was my dream car as a kid. Still is.

For me the DB9.2 takes it all....perfect balance of all the beautiful Astons in one package(2014-2016)

The VH platform V8 Vantage will always be my favorite Aston. One of the most beautiful cars ever. 15 years later, it still looks like a new model. Timeless.

I’m so happy to see the V 12 DB7 on this list. My dad had one when I was a kid and to this day it’s my favorite car he’s ever had. So many amazing memories.

Was hoping to see a Vanquish or a One-77. Expected the DB5 and DB7

Why a One-77? It's a great looking car, but it's neither a great GT as it's way too raw, nor is it an outstanding hyper car which it should've been for that price tag...

I’m obsessed with the gen 1 Vanquish, so naturally I feel it should be on the list. The Vantage of the same era is on the list and that’s what I would swap it with.

I am so pleased to see the DB7 V12 on the list, such a beautiful car in its day, still is now.

I am picking up my 2009 V8 Vantage in a day and a half. Cannot wait - a fulfillment of a dream.

V8 Vantage will always intrigue me....

I always thought the DBS was the best looking model until I saw one parked next to a 2015 Vanquish at a cars and coffee. Both were beautiful but the vanquish topped the DBS.

I still remember John Bolster's road test of a DB4GT in Autosport magazine and he started the piece with 'Please may I use some superlatives'.

Superb, as usual.

Vantage 550 is still a favourite of mine.

Mine too it was the most dramatic and in it's day the most powerful road car in the world. The documentary was disappointing missing major facts and some of the most important models like the V600 Le Mans and the Vantage 550.

It’s always subject to comments when someone makes a list of “the best of something” so I won’t go into that, but say that I enjoyed the video and didn’t know about the first car being lost forever. Maybe that would be the barn find to end all barn finds. V8 Vantage S is my personal and attainable favourite.

My favorites got to be the mighty vantage from the 1990s

I have always loved the first generation Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S and would place it above the DB7 on this list.

I'm suprised the One-77 wasnt on this list honestly.

My favorite AM DB9 is one of the best GTs of the 00s, with one of the best designs in car history. The DBR9, which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, was also built on the basis of the DB9.

Weak list doesn't even have my favorite Aston Martins the DB4 Zagato, Gen 1 Vanquish, One-77, DB9 GT, V12 Vantage, Rapide AMR. 🤷‍♂️

The One-77 would be in the top 10 Astons for me for sure

For me it’s the 2007 DBS

3:35: didn't realize Aston Martin used a counterclockwise tachometer since as early as the DB2.

Of course the DB5 is king of the hill. Had the chance to hear this engine at a traffic light (lowering the window and the driver knew what to do... what a sound!). But if I had the choice for my own, I would take a V8 Vantage.

The Vanquish, superseding the DBS is a fundamentally better car (faster, more comfortable and powerful) than the DBS and has a subtle elegance

Aston Martin V8 Vantage … well I would say that … I bought one! But like some others I was surprised that the DB4 Zagato didn’t feature

Surprised to hear the Vanquish II referred to as not as stunning as the old DBS... to me, it knocks spots off it. The 568 model that is, before all the added on splitters.

V12 Vantage should have got it's own space. It sounds like a pub board meeting,,,let's take the biggest engine and squeeze it in our smallest car just for fun a few early manuals about too

Beautiful cars. But the answer to the best Aston Martin is the one that isn't broken.

V8 Vantage 😍

Rather obviously, V12 Vantage is better looking than the V8, but the V600 may be the best of that bunch. One-77 is arguably the best Aston Martin of all design wise and is certainly the most stunning road car.

What a pity, the DB9 is missing as the really very best of.

i would've thought the V12 Vantage would've taken the spot of the V8 Vantage, putting such a powerful V12 in such a small car is absolutely mental also, where's the Valkyrie? Adrian Newey made another masterpiece

The list is flawed, the best Aston Martin ever made is the v550/v600 twin supercharged vantage from the 90s. Hand built, Aston Martin engine ,not a ford ,or a jaguar engine. Beautiful car. £500000 for a nice one.

Not only did you leave out the One 77, but also the DB9 GT (2016 only). It's better and more powerful than the DBS that modelled the older version of the DB9

I think it should. The last and most developed Aston all made in-house at their Newport Pagnell factory. After that, it all changed at their new factory. Engines made elsewhere and a Mercedes gearbox. I know its more efficient but the concept of "bespoke" disappeared.

Obviously, you missed the DB9. It was the car that made Aston what they are today. You added the DB7 which was named, and rightly so, the Jag in Drag. The DBS wouldn't have existed without the DB9 and with a more uncomfortable ride and spoiled lines for the sake of a few extra horse power, not worthy of a feature of the best ever. Also, you missed the vanquish... There's a school boy error!

Agree the DB9 has the cleanest lines of all the VH platform cars no contest there! The original where less is MORe

Here's my comment: 'You made a video.'

I'd choose the DB9 GT over the DBS: even more power, and a clean (uncluttered) body like the DB9, the most beautiful GT ever.

The Virage of 2012 is better than the DB9 & less expensive than the DBS and is pure joy to drive
