I'm very impressed by the professionalism of Roger. He had no lame excuses and accepted his weaknesses in this game. He's a good player and he should feel proud that he did beat Efren a couple of times. Efren, of course, the GOAT, humble yet dominant and fun to watch. Efren Manalang Reyes ("Bata" - meaning “the kid”) arrived in the US during the 1970s and won his way into pool history with a $14.00 Chinese manufactured pool cue he bought in Japan just before he arrive here…. I have played Efren a few years ago he is still a very, very great player!!!!! AND he still plays with a NO NAME cue!!!!!!!!

I don't usually like watching 8 ball. I prefer 9 ball for sure. I really enjoyed this one though. Maybe it was the commentators, or maybe just the way the racks fell. Idk. Either way, thnx for the upload!

I really liked it myself. So easy to spot on the table and no way to confuse it with any other ball, especially in the days of standard definition television.

Sketchy, yes. But I feel it was a legal shot. He applied left hand english on the cue ball, so the cue ball cut off the object ball in time. If he applied right hand english, it would definitely been a foul.

Yeah, I would bet that if you slowed it down, there would definitely be a double kiss. Even with low left, It was too close to the object ball. Great shot though.
