I have a 2010 Lincoln MKS with the 3.5L Ecoboost motor and during regular driving, even when fairly quickly overtaking other drivers on the highway, I rarely get it over 3000 RPM and the engine does not sound like it's working very hard at all to launch me past everyone on the road. By the way I'm still on the original motor and it's going very strong at 145,000 miles. In the Facebook group there are several of them surpassing 200k with no major issues. And as a person who works on my own car most of the time, I can honestly say it's not all that difficult to work on either. Only gripe I have is that the stupid water pump is driven off the timing chain. But yeah, the 3.5L in this Navigator is an even better refined motor than the one in my car, so I wouldn't knock it honestly.

I was just to the right of the block when the very first of the new Toyota Supra went for $2.5m a couple years ago and just this past January when the very first production C8 Corvette hammered for over $3m (to Mr Chevrolet himself, Rick Hendrick). Actually, the 2nd-3rd week of January is auction week in Scottsdale. In normal times, that week is HUGE for the city. Not only Barrett-Jackson but there's also Gooding and Co, and Russo and Steele. The past auction you and Hoovie were at was their first fall auction mainly to kind of jumpstart things since covid shut everything down. You probably noticed they removed the bleachers from the arena, and only registered bidders are allowed on the premises. That's probably going to be the policy for this January which will mean the first time for me missing it in 10 years :( There is nothing like the Barrett-Jackson auction on Super Saturday (when times are normal of course)!! When all the high dollar, exquisite classics and resto-mods go up on the block and end up at 6 and 7 figures, and guys with more money than they know what to do with are throwing down $50,000 increments at each other like throwing water balloons, and the arena is packed shoulder to shoulder, and every star in the automotive world or star who loves cars is standing right next to you (I was right next to Brad Paisley one time and didn't even know it till someone mentioned it to me after we walked away). Barrett-Jackson is my Disney World. When times are normal I'm in Phoenix for a couple weeks and go almost every day the show is open, and never miss Friday night or Super Saturday.

Pretty sure you guys had a great time; maybe next time (sans C0v!d) you guys could have a "Meet and Greet" with fans somewhere? We DO have beautiful sunsets and lots of dust however you would have no problem owning a black car here. I own TWO black cars; sure, dust gets on the vehicle but we have a gajillion car washes around here and they are relatively cheap especially if you buy an unlimited car wash pass which are less than $20/month.

The durability on the eco-boost engines is quite poor from my experiences I’ve seen. I have seen several raptors with the 3.5 eco boost need whole engine replacements at less than 40,000 miles turbos go out in 15,000 miles as well. The 3 cylinder economist in the escapes are bad as well. The 2.7 v6 eco boost are better but they still have issues. The 2.3 I4 eco boost in the mustang is probably the best of the pack but they still have turbo issues early in life.

Not excusing it at all, but this is not like the grandma or soccer mom down the street that uses it normally. I've been inside of a used one and its very put together nice and not loose like that. Also, Range Rover doesn't have the reliability that the Navigator has. I would choose this over a Range anyday. Just my opinion.

Got over 302k with hardly any issues at all since new, still has the original shock absorbers and bearings. Wish I could've ordered it with a basic 6.0 and a 4spd. I wish the navigator would've had the Ford 6spd and a 5.0 it's more reliable than my escalade, if it did I would've gotten it instead but both are kinda crap so might as well get the one that's newer.

It is now the last Thursday of March 2021. The Car Mom (Kelly Stumpe) just did a video to review the 2021 Ford Expedition yesterday. It is identical to this 2020 Lincoln Navigator, but the 2021 Expedition was the regular wheelbase. The wheelbase of the 2020 Navigator was extended, when the Car Wizard went to Barrett Jackson in Arizona last fall. Anyway, the Car Wizard will expect to have the first buy this, not that video of 2021 (all-new one) this afternoon, on Saturday or after Easter. I am leaning towards Mazda, because the newer ones are highly recommended to buy, because they have no CVT transmission, the engines have Skyactiv technology and they are built better, same with the newer Mitsubishi's (the Car Wizard will also do Mitsubishi Motors for buy this, not that in the next video by late April/early May). Some of the older Mazda's are not recommended to buy, because they have a lot of electrical problems, mechanical problems and so forth. The ones to buy are any Mazda 3 from 2004 to 2018, 2017 and newer CX-5 (non-turbo or turbocharged), 2014 to 2018 Mazda 6 and any Mazda 5 from 2006 to 2015. The ones not to buy are any Mazda CX-7 from 2007 to 2012, any Protege from 1999 to 2001 (the 2002 and 2003 models are the only exception), any MPV (all model years), any Tribute (all model years) (identical to the older Ford Escape) and the first-generation CX-9 from 2007 to 2015 (due to the water pump issue on the newer Ford V6 engine's), because it is the FWD configuration and they have some problems, similar to the CX-7 (The 2016 and newer CX-9 is still a buy). Thank you very much and I hope the Car Wizard will have a lot more videos headed our way.

This video and these comments are very strange, when Lincoln came out with the redesigned Navigator with it's unique dashboard, everyone applauded the interior as one of the best in the industry and declared Cadillac years behind. Where is all the hate coming from? It's only just now a step behind Mercedes and Audi's latest, and the seats are much more comfortable. If you really need the extra fancy dashboard and interior, you can get the Black Label stuff, then they are on par with Range Rover.
