Man, I already have an excellent high quality jazz bass... But these reviews make me want to pick up a P jus for the heck of it. A nice cheapo laying around just to jam with. These basses are incredible for a beginners. Wish I had one this affordable when I was starting out. Glad people like you are spreading the word. 👌🏻

Solid review. Glarry is on my list because I don't know bass and I don't have money. The guitar is what I play so bass will be new. I am ready to adjust whatever it needs, I actually enjoy that part. When you look at the camera I crack up every time.

I just got mine today. The box was damaged a little, but Glarry has apparently improved the packing with a sort of Styrofoam coffin inside which protected everything. Great fit and finish, needs a setup, new strings and a new nut, but I love it! I plan to finish the neck a bit, but other than that, I'm happy.

so you got your $75 P-bass and $75 jazz right? Kind of awesome seeing a bass that inexpensive put a smile on the face of someone with so many basses hanging on their wall. I just got the 4th bass in my collection today. A Sire P7 5str in swamp ash.. watching your videos helped make me feel good about biting the bullet.. wanted it in white blonde but it was only in stock in natural which has grown on me... man.. even with all your sire videos, and every one i could find on them, I wasn't prepared for what a tone monster Sire's putting out with that active EQ. Fat, beefy lows.. or super clear highs... just wow. Thanks for being part of steering me towards that purchase. P.S. I kind of like the chrome, and personally think black would be better than gold on that thing. "I don't have one that kind of blue" lol.. may you find the perfect matching suit.

Lefty here and I ordered one of each largely due to Bully’s reviews. I had one of the P Basses in lefty several months ago I ripped the frets out of to make it a fretless and it played great but I let it go and regret doing so. I love to mod and will mod at some point I am sure.

Allen, I have a P and a J before they changed the headstock, I am a 59 yr old beginner, but I do work on them, I have a couple of people come in and at first look they think F*nd*r, and just like you, they play them and just SMILE! love your videos man, you seem like a great guy that would be cool to just hang out with for a day and learn a few things. put some 36.00 Wilkerson Alnico 5 pickups in and there good to go! Man I’m a guitar player and I’m a lefty who previously picked up a Glarry burning fire electric guitar 6 string model because they have a left handed one. Now I’m about to pick up my first bass guitar from Glarry because I’m so happy with the strat and burning fire models of Glarry guitars I purchased. I figure it will be fun to at least use on Rocksmith on my pc since I already have it and can use my electric and soon a bass with the software. For the price why not learn bass guitar as well

That is a great sky blue color. I love it too. Two new basses for $150.00. I have heard both of them and they are quality.Improve the ground, and leave the rest as is. The hard part will be finding good bass cases cheaper than these guitars.

Is either bass neck-heavy? That's my one HUGE pet peeve with guitars/basses. I'd keep the chrome with the blue.

I wonder if there is much difference between the cheaper brands, or more likely in my opinion they come from just a handful of factories. I suspect Karrera, Artist and Glarry might be made to pretty similar specs by the same factory. Maybe the cheaper Samick, Squier guitars are made there too!

Hipshot bridge and a brass nut would go a long way on this thing, except for the fact that it would probably cost you more than the bass to do the upgrades! Actually, a new nut is rather cheap. Totally worth buying a new nut for that to replace the plastic one they're using.

Me personally I will put a black pickguard with silver star stickers on there and probably black Hardware or if you can find a silver or gold pickguard black stickers that would be good far is the pickups you can probably go with the emgx pickups or just add a preamp

You need to do some Chinese comparisons of popular basses. We all know out of the gate that you have to put work into it, but I'd like to know your opinion of those if you haven't done that already.

I would like to see you farm your tour to an agent. Dude their is alway a well known artist looking for a bass player.

It has that weird shorter version of the Kevin Durant foot shaped headstock for sure.

I found a 60 dollar P bass copy at a pawnshop.i had it modified, Schaller German made pick ups,maple top neck,black hardware,black pickguard,DR black beauty strings, dark blue body.I had a set up done on it.I put 300 dollars into it,but it was worth it!

Keep the chrome but add a black pearloid pick guard.

So between the two basses, which one did ya like more? lol I dig this bass man. It looks like upgrading would make a huge difference

anyone else notice many name brands hold back the cool colors for their super expensive models and if you go for anything more affordable they limit you to more basic colors.

PS I recently bought a boss katana 50 guitar amp. Super purchase! I have a Mexican stratacaster guitar. I want to pick up the bass after 40 yrs. Used to have a fender precision back in the early 70s, with a kustom stack. I was shocked at how much they cost today!
