Excellent review and playing. It would seem a lot of reviewers have mentioned unwanted noise with these guitars, which could be a problem for gigging guitarists, but then again getting a gig would be difficult in England anyway so noise isn’t going to be a problem until music regains it’s roots at least not here. Keep up the reviews, I enjoy them, and find them informative. Thanks

I was considering getting a beginner bass for myself for Christmas, as I’ve never actually played an instrument to a full extent before, but have been wanting to for a while. I was looking at this one on their website and it seemed reliable, but I wanted to make sure, so I checked out this video and I think it very much solidifies the chances of me getting it for myself. It was really nice hearing how it sounds and I really liked hearing it in different settings. Thanks a lot for the great review, man!

Thanks RM a great review of the Glarry 'P' Bass! $75 seems like a small price to pay for this great entry level/ backup bass. I thought the pots offered good tone adjustment for such a cheap guitar. I just picked up a Harley Benton B450 bass from Thomann for my wife to learn on. Wow, another great guitar although double the price of the Glarry. I'm getting so much out of your music, mission and reviews Rumblin Man. God bless and thanks so much!

For the money and the upgrades that I would no doubt insist upon, I will wait, put some more paper money together and buy what I really want and go from there...I would like a Squier or Fender and have 63-Precision PU’s installed for that classic vintage sound. God bless and be well.

I have one of these jazz basses and most definitely performs above and beyond 100 dollars. Sounds, looks and feels like a proper bass and can be setup with pretty decent action. I think people on youtube are reluctant to say its a good bass, not just for the price, to not create unreasonable expectations but they are pretty decent instruments on their own right. 100% you can gig with this and not only would nobody notice, they would sound good.

As of Jan 2021 this P-Bass or a Jazz Bass is $85.99 US funds with free shipping in the USA. This is the lowest price for a playable bass on the market at this time. It is made in China and they are wrapped at the factory and shipped to the US distributor. They are not checked in any way by the distributor and are reshipped to clients in the US. So the quality can vary with occasional cosmetic defects or defective parts on your guitar. On the positive side Glarry according to reports seems to stand by their product and will offer to correct the situation as it arises. For the price if you are able to do some basic setup procedures ( KZread videos ) you can have a perfectly functional bass for a very cheap price.

GR8 VIDEO....THANKS A LOT....BUT THE PROBLEM ABOUT THE BUDGET BASSES ( OR GUITARS , OR ANY OTHER INSTRUMENTS ) THEY MAY PLAY AND SOUND GR8 TODAY, BUT HOW ABOUT TOMORROW ? HOW ABOUT 2 YEARS LATER ? HOW ABOUT 5 YEARS LATER ? HOW ABOUT 10 YEARS LATER ? IF I BE BUSY CHANGING , REMAKING OR REWIRING THE PARTS ( ESPECIALLY THE ELECTRONICS ) AND SPENDING LOTS OF MONEY, ENERGY AND TIME, EVEN 75 US DOLLARS WOULD BE STEEP...

So, would it be correct to say it's good foundation for beginners to learn on, and then upgrade to something closer to a pro level bass? I'd like to buy a beginner bass that doesn't have to stay a beginner bass.

Basswood body is highly resonant and will create a lot of sustain I believe that is an actual Rosewood fretboard because it's made in China and they have absolute control of the whole Market on Rosewood to them it's a sacred material that's why we're not getting it anymore as far as the pickups they can easily be changed out to Wilkinson's really I think the only thing this base needs is a ax grinder capacitor and that'll change the the whole the whole sound definitely

I have 2 Glarry basses, one of their P basses and one of their Jazz basses. I personally love them. The amount of Bass that they gave me for the money is amazing and there is so much room for personalized upgrades. I honestly love Glarry instruments for the potential they give musicians on a budget. Creative musicians will throw a new bridge, better pick ups, higher quality strings, etc. I even took my basses in the backyard and sanded the neck down with steel wool for a super smooooooth natural wood finish that my hand oils are staining just by playing it. These basses WILL do it ALL from the factory but the potential they give you for the money is an absolute steal!

That thick chunky neck is a big part of why this bass sounds as good as it does. As with guitars, the thicker the neck the deeper the resonance and more sustain you get out of the guitar.

Jake T 🤣 have you played a Glarry bass for yourself? The neck on this bass is much thicker than any Fender neck, or any bass neck I’ve ever tried. Also, the body is a very light laminate basswood. If this bass does sound good, it’s not the wood that’s complimenting the tone.
