At first I thought Glarry gave this guitar for review. Then I saw you only have 8 subscribers, and said, no, this is a real unbiased review.

Awesome! This definitely gets the job done for DI tracking. Then let the mix engineer works his magic! I’ll have to look at the jazz.
I got the glarry gib bass for my birthday. I have to say, I put new strings on it, tuned it, and started playing. It is a nice bass. It’s not an Ibanez or anything, but it sounds good after adjusting the neck and bridge. I also received a glarry bass amp. I am happy with how it sounds. The gig bag that came with it is trash. I will be investing in a better case or gig bag. Hope this helps some.
Have 3 Glarrys and just bought the 6 string bass tonight….I love this bass line….they sit right next to my Fender fretless Jazz bass…the Tokyo edition…all black…black tuners…I love this bass….and love my Glarrys😊
My Glary 5 string full scale bass is awesome . Had to shim and set things but it was worth it

Awesome! Out of the box they definitely serve a purpose. However I think they’re also a great platform for honing tech skills and learning how to do setups etc. Plus I didn’t know they did 5 strings! 🤯
Tremonti/AB kind of sound, love it [the track], the bass sounds good in the mix.
cool song!
Just got my Glarry Burning Fire bass back from the Luthier. With a set up this bass is easily a $300 guitar.

Nice! Did you have anything done besides a general set-up?

Frets weren’t too bad, but had them filed & polished. I used Lemon oil beforehand to moisturize the fretboard. It arrived kinda dry looking. Other than that the standard set up. Restrung it with Ernie Ball Super Slinky 40-105 & it plays very nice. I’ve been able to play at least an hour everyday in the evenings & it’s an excellent player & the stock pups sound great in my opinion.

@@jerryburnett1803 Good to hear. I’m all for fixing up gear to fit how you play or just spruce it up instead of dropping $ on “fancy gear”. We’re currently finishing mixing for the new record (lyrics vids you can find on the channel) but our engineer/producer keeps asking “you really recorded these bass parts on a Glarry?!” He was impressed lol.

@@Century_Road_Official I’ve never had a bad Glarry. #cheapguitars
I gig with that bass and leave the Jazz at home. Needed minor setup and flatwounds.

Thanks my man! This is Drop D tuning, nothing crazy.
Is this bass guitar usable for a gig or to work with ?

In a pinch or back up I would say yes. As your main stage/gig bass, I would say “proceed with caution”. I used it to record our album and it did the job fantastically. However with recording I can stop and tune during takes if needed, EQ out buzzy electrical hum etc. Live on the fly is much more unforgiving. Again, it’s not a hard no, but I don’t think I would make it my “go to” stage axe.

@@Century_Road_Officialyou don’t have a tuner hooked up to your rig so you can tune live on the fly…what are you…2…..these basses play out just perfectly fine….put on some hipshot tuners if you can’t figure out a simple live tuning fix….doh.

@@petersokol1603 I appreciate the condescending feedback. My comment to the original question was simply information not based on my own experience so that person could make their own decision. Live I play an LTD Thinline 6 acoustic. Not bass, this is strictly for recording. I have an on board tuner on the LTD and a D’Addario pedal tuner as well. That being said, right on you can gig with a Glarry and it suits your needs.
I just bought 1 of these arriving today or tomorrow I'll see how it is
You got a great deal man :) Funny stuff... "Recording with way more high tech Sh@t" .... Now that's funny...
I bought this bass; I would not waste your money. unless you're a beginner.
I got this bass today and it is crap. The quality is very poor. My neck screws are rusted and the neck fitting is poor. Bridge screws are stripped out. Save your money on this one. I have the Glarry jazz bass and it is OK. It is a hit and miss with this company.
