It is really great to be able to watch wrestlers of this caliber go at it. I hope, at some point, the announcing can catch up.

It blows my mind how confident Dake was in this match. Just a 3x national champ and Hodge Trophy award winner and you're going to barely try so that you can save your energy for the finals? jeez

The butt drag shouldn’t involve fingers. That’s the only time you should swing on someone in a match.

NAH! He was a great college athlete but if he brings home a medal at the Olympics the WORLD will be shocked. Still several wrestlers that should be representing us in place of Dake. Dake was awesome at the college folkstyle level but he just doesn't have the scramble for this level. He needs underhooks and gutwrenches - muscle moves in lieu of finesse. A good wrestler should beat him every time. Burroughs, Cox, Nolf, Gadzhimagomedov , and 15 others that defeated themselves by wrestling Dake's match instead of their own. David Taylor should have beaten Dake in every match but one. Watch the films...

It really messed with dieringer that Kyle wouldn't engage with 2 hands in the clinch it appears that its really disconcerting for him and throwing off his game plan a bit...either way i have immense respect for both athletes
