72 Hours Overlanding in the Utah Desert | With Sinuhe Xavier and Camp Yoshi | Episode 4

Zero bars of service. A decade-old paper map. One merino tee each. After feeling stuck behind computer screens for too long, 72 hours off the grid was exactly what we needed. Filmmaker Sinuhe Xavier led the way while we mapped a new overland route for Rashad and Ron Frazier of Camp Yoshi-an organization making the outdoors more inclusive through trips into the remote wilderness. By keeping it simple, we made room for what really mattered-reconnecting with old friends, savoring meals around the campfire, and giving the epic landscape every ounce of attention it deserved.
The team at Proof created a performance tee that can be worn for 72 hours straight without showing any signs of wear-or, you know, odor. To back up that claim, we’ve packed one tee, and one tee only, on demanding excursions around the world-from Iceland and the Swiss Alps, to Mexico City. How did it do off the grid in southern Utah? Spoiler alert: it passed with flying colors yet again.

Back at it again with the epic adventure content. Beautiful stuff
How did you get a hold of the WayOut Concept vehicle? That is the real question...
Here in Europe, heating costs have gone up hugely since Russia invaded Ukraine. I bought a 250g merino base layer with funnel neck. It allows me not to turn on the heat unless it's below zero outside. It cost 110 euro ( about $130 ), but it has paid for itself already. It is bullet proof. The last one I had was 220g. I bought it in 2009 and it went around the world with me, from Central Europe, through Russia in the winter, Mongolio in deepest winter, China etc. Kept me warm all the way through. I only bought the replacement this season as finally, after 14 years of wear, the neck began to fray. Top Tip : Buy 100% Merino wool. If it's diluted with plastic, a) it can't be recycled so easily and b) you will smell.
I love this series and also cities that you covered. Seattle, New Orleans (my favorite), Minnesota and NYC. It was amazing.

Looks like a great trip. In a few of the camping spots, I see a storyteller beast. Did it do the same trails the jeeps did? Some of the trails look tough for a sprinter :)
Awesome guys and perfect videoing keep going can you tell what camera gears are you using ?!
What camera and lens do you use to shoot?
I'd love to learn about the music featured in the video. Inspirational sounds!

They say cryptobiotic soil is delicate and important....unless they find oil or copper in th he ground. Then it really doesn't matter.
@6:22 I cringed seeing this guy split wood like that. Careful bro. 😬
