At last! Someone who knows how to identify and suggest genuine Greek food. Sick of Americans sampling random dishes in between gyros pittas and calling it traditional Greek cuisine. You really did your homework and suggested places that I'd personally love to visit. As someone who once lived and studied for 4 years in Athens and visited numerous times, thank you ❤!

As a Greek , I have to say this is the best non-Greek food review I've seen. Your man must be Southern Italy, as he has the dark look and will have Hellenic roots somewhere. He tries foods that Westerners won't try and his pronunciation is very, very good. Μπράβο.

I grew up, working and living in the international communities. The Arab world, Europe, the Mediterranean, Africa and later, in the far East India, and S. America! Some of my most memorable moments revolved around the amazing foods and hospitality of the food industries, in all those wonderful places!

I am watching your video from Toronto, Canada. I liked your video very much.

While on Peloponnesus at Easter, I woke up wondering what to do and where to eat. Taking my coffee to the balcony, amazing aromas floated up from down below. I looked down to see three spits being turned slowly. I went downstairs with my wife and we got invited to a private party. Never felt more welcome. One spit had lamb, one a suckling pig the third had a stuffed intestine filled with offal and wrapped in bacon. All three were being mopped with olive oil rosemary and lemon. I died and went to heaven on Easter

Just a small friendly correction. At the beginning of the video, I'm quite sure that these were walnuts and not chestnuts as you said. That's how we eat yoghurt as a dessert in Greece, with honey and walnuts. Have fun 😊

Probably best food tour of Athens by a non-greek I've seen. You did your research, well done! :) You even went to Panormou street for the best Peinirli of the city! (I've never seen a tourist there!!) One small hiccup though: There is a mix up with the names, you say ariston in the peinirli ionias place, and peinirli ionias at the ariston place. But, all is forgiven! :)) So glad you enjoyed your stay in Athens! :)

Athens was such a vibe when we visited last year! Try visit Norman for cocktails, so much better than the commercial "best bars in the world" places! We hit as many food spots as possible so it was nice to see some of those in this video. I so wanted to visit Lefteris o Politis but the entire area stank of piss and bin juice when we walked past so sadly we got out of there, this was not indicative of Athens as it was such a beautiful place but I have no idea what was happening in that area. Great video dude!
