    I'm so glad I came across this video. I suffer from GAD (general anxiety disorder) and I'm trying to start a small Etsy shop. My poor brain hates me right now or vice versa. Thank you. 👍

    Thank you Starla! I find eating whole food, staying away from cane sugar, gluten and any processed foods especially anything with soy in it really keeps my anxiety away. There IS a brain/gut connection. It’s worth exploring.

    What an amazing surprise Starla! 😊💛 You've made my day, thank you for featuring my shop💛💛. I can relate to the topic and I'm definitely going to implement these tips everyday to have a better life/business balance. By the way I have the same planner too and it is a great tool. As always thank you so much for all you do!

    Yes yes yes please touch more on mental health in business ownership! I suffer with anxiety disorder and borderline personality disorder, among other things. The BPD and anxiety gaslight one another. I keep pushing but it usually involves a lot of tears and feelings of worthlessness. I feel like my business is stagnant no matter how much growth I achieve. I'm surrently struggling with social media and my BPD is beating me up for it while my anxiety cheers it on. I have been glued to your channel, I listen to the friday bean episodes in the shower, I take notes, I habe been sharing your videos with my husband. I have seen growth since following uour advice, and hopefully next year I can afford to take your course. Anyway, thank you and mr moore for all of the free expertise, you two have been invaluable to my progress.

    I thought I was the only one who is wound so tight that they have to use a physical planner and Trello. Also, thanks for the reminder to rest. As someone with fibro, this is highly important for me. I don't do it and as a result, I'm constantly sick, but hearing this from multiple sources helps me tone down the anxiety on the off chance I do take a day off between the 9-5/Etsy/book, whether its by choice, or as you said, forced on my by my body.

    I feel like most of the business owners out here need Tip #4 the most! While it's true that being a business owner is a continuous grind, you have to let yourself breathe and rest as well. Great video!

    Thank you so much for this video!! I have been getting more anxiety and sensory overload living in this apartment. It got worse during the pandemic and I started to shake when the stomping on our heads wouldn't stop. Sadly we cant move out of this environment because everything is close or is in the millions for houses here in Seattle. The way I tried to work with it is very early in the mornings and stopping with work after 3 when most people get back. As soon as we can escape though we will so we can return to normal anxiety heh.

    Oh gosh! I can so relate to this! It’s so hard and not everyone is so sensitive to environmental distractions. I’ve found that having floor-to-ceiling bookcases full of books helps a lot with sound. But lighter and cheaper is to put up mattress foam on the walls and ceilings. I’ve tried many ear buds and headphones and ear plugs but my ears are tiny so that doesn’t always work.

    I can totally relate 🥺 thanks for this video! I will try some tips. I tend to plan too many tasks for a month, and I feel anxiety when I'm not performing well and can't do all of them on time. Do you have a video about that? If not - it may be a great topic to discuss.

    I don't - but my advice is to give yourself 3 "priority" tasks per day, then treat anything else you accomplish as a "bonus task". 🙂

    This has been a constant struggle for me too. I eventually figured out that I have a productive cycle of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. It SUCKS. I hate it. And I still haven’t accepted it so I can work with it instead of planning my days weeks months-and failing. But first step is to notice, and next step is try again.

    Thanks for posting this video. I'm just getting to know my anxiety. I've always had ADHD including procrastination, which I have learned to manage over the years, but this new thing started during covid and I am still learning how to work through it, not let it scare me, and how to convince it to let me do my work. We aren't even on a first name basis yet, it's so new.

    Anxiety really is like a creature you have to get to know and understand. Imagine adopting a tiger. You may be able to identify some of the tiger's needs, but for the most part, you won't know how to keep your tiger happy until you've had time to get to know it, understand it, and respect all of its needs. Just remember the example of the cat in your lap. Eventually, you can cohabitate with your anxiety. It will always get in the way when it's around, but after a while, you can learn to live with it peacefully while it's visiting. 💜

    Could you do a video telling us about the uses and difference between later, Monday and Trello? Do any of these post , posts when you tell it to and to different socials??

  • @StarlaMoore

    @StarlaMoore

    Trello is strictly for organization. It isn't a scheduling tool, so you wont be able to schedule your posts from it. I personally just use it to organize. For schedulers, they honestly all work about the same way. I personally use Later because I wanted to be able to schedule to TikTok, and at the time, it was the only tool that would allow it. Most scheduling tools work the same though, so it's best to find the ones that cater specifically to the social media platforms you want to schedule to. The video you requested can be found here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e52M0qegqpmcic4.html 😊

    Something that’s helped me besides a therapist has been podcasts that hold me accountable or see things differently. I really recommend healthy gamer gg, dr k does a great job of talking about shame, anxiety and procrastination. I also recommend the channel struthless because he talks about his issues with trauma and the things he does to overcome it. I hate the physical symptoms of my anxiety disorder it leaves me so fatigued when I calm down and I shake, get dizzy and either pass out or throw up/get nauseated… Also, how does one schedule reels and TikTok videos? It’s like impossible to do so…
