What about the coffee shop in Mulholland Drive. It has a similar vibe to these other ones.

The screen writing of this film is excellent. The mention of things every so often like Vietnam and China man. It makes it even better when watching it more than once.

I always noticed Johnie's in Big Lebowski and American History X! Two of my favorite movies! Didn't realize it was in Reservoir Dogs and Gone In 60 Seconds as well! I love those movies!

The check-writing scene was a major blooper. In September 1991 the Gulf War was over by several months. That speech by Bush was in the summer of 1990. Or maybe Dude was just writing his check with a whole year to make sure it cleared.
