The British Army used a similar set up to the car miniatures in the traffic study at 24:00 to teach drivers how to drive tanks.. I'm not sure which one came first.

Good film selection, but you talk too fast, like you were in a hurry to get the whole thing done, which takes away part of the joy of viewing this video. One gets distraught instead of calmly pleased by the beauty of those films.

This costume had been really well done for the price; especially since the costume seems quite expensive in the movie.✌️

Wikus from district 9. He starts out looking down on the aliens so much he derives pleasure flame throwing their babies and hearing them scream. He ends up willing to die to help the alien get away. And crying when he sees the spaceship take off. One of the best sci fi movies ever.

Not putting the original version of "The Magnificent Seven" on your list is UNCONSCIONABLE! The movie is filled with actors who would become bonafide superstars over the next two decades (McQueen, Bronson, and Coburn...Brenner was already a star.) The dialog is especially impressive. For all its violence, the movie harps on the theme that the life of a hired killer is not all that it's cracked up to be. Check out this awesome dialog...

I'm surprised that there are no howls of outrage from the Flat Earth community about the lack of recognition for the huge team of practical-effects people responsible for creating the illusion that the Earth is a 'globe'. Those guys work soooooo hard...😁

I've seen Sunset Boulevard probably 30 times and this video made me consider things that had never crossed my mind. Super smart and entertaining. I will say that I don't agree that Norma Desmond was a terrible person. I think she was a lonely, desperate, delusional person that wanted better for herself.

This list doesn’t have Gordon Willis. I guarantee you everyone on this list would scratch their name out to be replaced by Him. The woman at number 2 is pretty silly. Everyone knows Sven Nydquist is the best DP that ever lived. You also left off Carlo Di Palma and Bob Richardson. Go back and remake this Video

If Deakins shot on film you’d be right. But he doesn’t so you’re not and he’s not. Digital sucks and is allowing non professionals into an art form that is already flooded with them. I’ll take Richardson over Deakins 24/7/365. No brainer
