My husband and I went on a church tour with only a carryon each. We were in Germany, France and Switzerland for 8 days. We did find a laundry and washed after 5 days which was nice. Some on the tour had carryon and huge suitcases to pull around airports and over cobbled streets and in two hotels with no elevator they had to carry upstairs. We still had😮to wait in the airports for all to find their luggage so didn’t help get in and out faster but I felt put together in my outfits.

Wow, Denise, that's excellent to hear! We've slightly changed our holiday plans now and I may be opting for a city trip this September, so I am going to give the carry-on option a go!

Hi Dez! Love the Gap shorts. They look super comfortable. I love your style. Everything just goes so well, and you always look fabulous. Boxy tees are the best. Good if you want to do a front tuck. I like the navy cardigan on you. Are you taking me with you?? I try to also pack lightly. My husband is the over packer. It drives me nuts! Have fun. Love and hugs❣️💖❤️

LOL- - we haven't actually decided whether we're going beach or cities, but as it'll be early September it should still be nice weather in Eastern Europe. Will you get away this summer? Have a lovely Friday - we are having a BBQ tomorrow, weather permitting ❤️💕❤️

Hello, Dez- what a useful video at this time of year! I love your idea of a carry-on capsule wardrobe. My problem, though, is with the quantity of toiletries/hair care products/cosmetics I seem to need for even the shortest of trips. Could you do (or have you already done?) a video on Absolute Essentials Only for these items? Huge thanks as always - Ruth

It's technically navy (according to Uniqlo) but so dark as to be almost black 🙂.
