In my opinion, you always do a good job of putting together realistic winter outfits! So many youtubers do winter lookbooks with outfits I'd never be able to wear here in Kansas but you never let me down❤️

Well, I think, the majority of those youtubers live in warmer climates so they don’t really know what a harsh winter is like Therefore, it’s realistic for them not for those of us who live a little bit more up North

Thank goodness you addressed the “winter fashion police” because as long time sub, It’s upsetting how much people complain about certain outfits not being “proper” for super cold weather + the unnecessary “she doesn’t know this or that” comments. Claudia Peregrina but honestly, I'm not trying to defend the "winter fashion police" but in the whole time i was on youtube, which is like 7 years by now, I've seen ONE video, that was actually proper for a cold winter. It is frustrating, because in some countries you only leave the house in such warm clothes from november till beginning of march, and you feel so bored because you look the same all the time. And than these youtubers come out, living in florida and shit and they wear open leather jackets and you ask yourself "what am I supposed to do with that??" For me those are not winter outfits, they are fall outfits. At least they cold write "for warm winters" in the title.

But if their winter season isn’t as cold as in other places, why would they do an outfit of the week that doesn’t really apply to their situation? What I mean is that there are many places where “winter” doesn’t really imply “freezing cold” and those people ( counting myself in xd) also have the right to get ideas. To sum up, winter is the season between december and march ( at least in the north pole) and during this period people from many different places experience many different types of weather so I don’t see why only the places with a really cold winter should be the only ones entitled to these kinds of videos. I live in a warm weather and I most likely never have to wear the type of outfit people demand from her so I really aprecciate the ideas I get from the videos🤗

kaddaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hey there! You’re entitled to feel angry about your winter experience, but you can’t hold it against anyone for show casing winter outfits you don’t think are “cozy” compared to the blizzard weather of your country when Tess lives in an area that experiences sunlight during the winter. I’m sorry you can’t wear anything cute until Spring because of your area’s climate. Tess’s outfits may be “warm weather” appropriate for you, but do keep in mind that if she could find trendy puffy jackets suited for snow and colder weather, she would definitely let us know. The truth however, is that when in extreme cold weathered area, you wear whatever super bundled item you can find. Cute or not, you’ll throw it on to keep warm. She’s not claiming NYC to be the coldest place ever, so accommodate to your needs. And if you can’t, just take it as inspiration for a day when you can wear something like what she show cases. I live in Arizona, and we don’t have seasons. Winter only lasts a few days, and by that I mean it’s barely at 60 degrees sometimes. Despite that, I love watching her “winter wear” videos because the second it is remotely fresh enough for me to throw on a jacket or wear anything cozy, Tess’s wardrobe videos have helped :-)

I have the teddy bear coat and it is warm! And I am cold all the time, so that is saying something!

Don’t apologise for the boots! Way easier and more realistic to use one pair than a different pair of shoes for every outfit! Looove your style x

Wednesday and Saturday are my faves! But I think all outfits are unique and inspirational to try and incorporate in my own winter wardrobe!

You know what is so amazing and important about Tess on KZread.... her videos never a disappointment. It’s actually rare and a statement to her fashion sense, that I will go back to videos she posted last winter (or summer) or a year ago for inspo. Trends are ever changing but her videos always manage to engulf trends while showing her personal style. Tess you are my fashion icon for sure, i would wear every outfit but what’s new? Also just purchased Steve Madden black booties because of how much inspo I draw from you’re content. Don’t ever change! I can’t wait to see where your channel goes this year, also love the vlogs!

Honestly Tess, I love how u take the same piece and show it a bunch of different ways! It is so helpful for those of us that like to shake it up, but also are ballin on a budget!
