7-month-old with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries after standoff in Surprise
UPDATE: Surprise police originally stated that the child was 6 months old and clarified Monday that the child is 7 months old.
Surprise police are investigating an armed standoff that developed into a massive house fire hours after a 7-month-old was shot several times near Loop 303 and Cactus Road Friday. Police say they originally received a call from a woman around 11:30 a.m. who said she escaped from being held hostage since 3 a.m. after the father of her child broke into her house. The woman also told police that the baby was still inside and could be in danger.

My dear Universe, what the hell is wrong with people. I’ll never understand people that harm babies and children because they’re inadequate adults. I hope he found and does not enjoy any part of the rest of whatever he lives.
These are not cheap homes with this home being the less expensive in the neighborhood at $450k. I mention this as it will be interesting to understand how any single parent could afford one, and curious if these two purchased the home together with the unaccounted for male being kicked out of the home only to return with an absolute vengeance. What could provoke a father to shoot his own child then kill himself with no hope for the future. It was absolutely insane watching this all unfold from my backyard. Couldn’t understand why a helicopter out of Scottsdale airport was doing circles overhead until I walked outside and saw all the police and fire trucks.
Whats a miracle is a 6 month old baby was supposly shot multiple times and is still a live with NO life threatening injuries . How is that possible??
