@@naturalbeauty0214 Hmm... Well it ranges from slightly large to small lol I have a total of 111 locs. I started with 141 and combined a few cause I wasn't digging the small lock look to much. So some are thicker than others but still look good.

Just all around GORGEOUS!! These loc videos are getting me throoouughhh

I went over two mos without retwisting my starter babies and it was a damn disaster 😂! Wen I finally went to do a retwist chiiiiile the new growth!!!! It was too much work!!! I didn’t go that long intentionally I was just pregnant lazy and my hair wasn’t bothering me! But yeeeeeea... 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

Yeah I feel ya..I’m 6 mos. with this set & if I don’t retwist every month my hair becomes super frizzy & since it is short like a Afro..but I TOO AM embracing the progress😉...& I do plan to purchase a t-shirt...your videos are always informative...thanks❤️✌🏾

They're coming along nicely. Don't be surprised if you have to combine more along the perimeter. I worry about the base of my locs there. Its a softer texture and compacts different than the rest of the areas. I had to do alot of combining.

Thank you! I'm hoping I won't have to but I won't be upset if I have to combine a few more along the edges. Ya girl edges came a loooonnnngggg way due to postpartum shedding. I'm happy with the transformation.

I am 11 months in and I am now re-twisting my hair myself. What do you do when you wash your hair and not re-twist? I'm afraid if I wash my hair and not re-twist it my locs will mess up. Any advice is welcomed.

You just need to make sure your locs are hydrated and scalp moisturized. You can always lightly pull apart the roots every few days to make sure that they don't marry in between retwists.

Yes, I'm currently using some of the ayurvedic oils. If I ever want to dye my locs, I'll go the natural route

Man this is weird as hell lol . I literally have to combine in the same spots as u did .

Your locs are dry because you are washing them way to much. Try going a month or two without washing it and drink plenty of water. You will moisturize your hair from the inside with the amount of water you drink....

Victoria Green I had to sit down and really think about it. I have low porosity hair right, which means moisture lock out. Where I live it feels like winter here. When it’s cold your hair seals shut. I could have benefited from a hot oil treatment and or spraying my hair immediately after hot showers when my cuticles were lifted. On top of that I was working out a lot because it was the perfect time to do so without needing to re-twist. Me washing it more because I felt like it was dirty was only making the situation worse with me not using the proper methods to moisturize it. I drink plenty of water. long story short I’m not waiting 8 weeks again because it causes problems that I never had to deal with before.
