This looks amazing. The grapple hook on the super shotgun is going to add a lot to how to approach a fight and the automatic barrel for the normal shotgun is great in that it makes the shotgun worth using even when you have the super shotgun. Can't wait for this!

Pretty much the makings of a perfect sequel - just improving on an already great experience by adding more variation to level design and monster design. Improving the puzzles and playforming to include a grapple like system and a large amount of verticality along with a heavier emphasis on melee attacks. Some new weapons and attachments and stuff - and somehow even more impressive and fluid combat animations.

Doomguy and Master Chief gotta have a drink together sometime.

The thing I love about this games premise is that, in most games, you have to save the Earth BEFORE it gets destroyed. You have to prevent the apocalypse. In DOOM: Eternal, its over. The Earths already burned, everyone's dead, and everything is destroyed. All you can do now is avenge everyone who died... By ripping and tearing, until it is done.

Did he just make a machine gun shotgun...gun? THATS SO PLUS ULTRA!

Kinda wanted to see the minigun gameplay but a gatling shotgun is just as badass.

I find the sound of the hell knight’s head being stabbed by the slayers blade, punched on the side of the head while the blade is literally pushing parts of the knight’s brain and skull. 2:16

Wow, the only criticism I had about the 2016 DOOM was the level design and some of the kill animations, and it looks like they’ve greatly improved upon both! This is game is gonna be extremely epic, I’m so happy right now!!

What I didn't like about Doom 2016 is that they did not add any new weapons or enemies, they just updated them with a modern touch from previous Doom games. Hopefully they will bring something we haven't seen before with the sequel...

doom 2016 added a gauss cannon, sniper, 3 burst rifle, hellshot and many more new weapons what are you talking about? also some new demons.

this gameplay isn't from ign, it's from quakecon, so I would hope id knows how to play their own game :P

chain shot-gun is amazing so is the blade!
