I like how Davoth didn’t even know The Slayer personally…yet still put his power armor on. Like he could just feel that an incorruptible, angry, power just ruminated from him and he wasn’t about to just take it lightly.

At 17:29, that zombie has seen the coolest fight he’s ever witnessed. The Resolution has been reached and he’s waiting for the end. He gasps when the Dark Lord disappears and The Slayer falls. He too disappears as he is turned into ash…. and then nothing. Just kidding, that zombie isn’t just a zombie. That’s the true Dark Lord, with the one that the Slayer fought being a simple projection of a fraction of his power.

What's funny about what the father said about the Doom Slayers Mission being his own now is that it has always been his mission since Doom 1. He didn't need anyone's help, he did it all by himself before the demons sealed him.

Honestly, out of all the enemies on doom the only one who truly got my heart racing was the arch vile and he’s a mini boss. That guy can turn your entire level into a shitstorm if he’s not dealt with quickly.

I think dark lord would've been more effective if he took Maradeur's approach and fought Doom slayer without that suit

I kind of wish davath dropped his armor and fought you one on one, would’ve been sick, kind of like a marauder on steroids without the constant blocking and more offense.

Hard to say what ll happen next. I don't think there's anyone left who's capable of making it to the sarcophagus (maybe a new night sentinel will rise up and resurrect us). Maybe that's the point. He'll never be awakened again and that's a better ending than killing the slayer off?

As a long time Godzilla fan, I think the Icon would win. But I'm only referring to the movie ones like Showa, Heisei, Millennium and Legendary. Godzilla Earth and Shin Godzilla would have a much better fight.

In the game lore, the hilt is like the flashlight tube and the blade is like the battery. He left the battery behind and needs to recharge the hilt
