I use a routine that helps me reduce decision fatigue, clothes rotation and helps with decluttering. I hang up all of my clothes by category, short sleeve dressy tops, long sleeve casual tops, jeans, slacks, shorts etc. When I’m getting dressed, I pull out the first item on the left hand side to wear. When I put away clean clothes, they go in on the right side. This gives me first in, first out. If I pull out an item and feel bleh about it, it goes to my donation bin. And I do make exception for daily weather variability.

Great timing with the season change. I genuinely THOUGHT that my closet only have pieces that I love/wear. But this fabulous video inspired me to let go of a couple bags of summer dresses that are not my favourites and some sweaters that I really wanted to wear, but never chose to, and shirts that were less flattering (even though I love the fabric). I have high hopes that someone will find these items and love them.

Really love your tips. I’m going through my wardrobe and noticed most worn pieces are very comfortable ones instead of trendy ones. Can I ask where is your brown sandals from? They look very comfortable.

Hey! I love your channel. So I have accumulated so many clothes for my kids (age 6&3). Would you recommend decluttering or keeping it on the side as they wear out their clothes. My kids get their clothes so dirty so quickly or ruin it by markers or something… 😅 Also how old are you? Looks like we are samee but just guessing😊

It might be worth keeping on to some spares, of course. It just depends on the quantity of them and how many you can manage 💛 I’m 31 😊
