@@rigobertogarcia1016 There is nothing liberating in committing sin, it leads to slavery. When we follow the 10 commandments we live a good life and avoid so much misery. Those who follow the commandments and have a prayer life are happier and more at peace than those who do not. God bless.

The deadly sin that I’m easily vulnerable to is lust. And why is that? Well because of 2 reasons. 1. When I was in a relationship with my girlfriend now my ex girlfriend. And during my time with her, I visited her in the summer of 2019. And at first I thought the visit was going to be honest and decent but she and I began to take the relationship to a new level by having sexual relationship. And I tried my best to resist and not give in. But I was powerless and weak. But at least I didn’t get her pregnant. And the next day I went to my Catholic Church and I was feeling emotionally upset and guilty. And I decided to go to a Catholic priest for the sacrament of reconciliation and during the sacrament, he told me for my penance was praying the Holy rosary and the prayer to Saint Michael the archangel. Today, I’m no longer with my girlfriend because she and I called off the relationship. So I’m waiting for my future Catholic girlfriend. 2. My dad wasn’t always loyal to my mom when they were married and he violated one of the Ten Commandments. “Thou shall not commit adultery.” And began having affairs with other women and cheating on my mom. So this is why I’m easily vulnerable to the sin of lust.

If depicting Jesus is sinful, then is not writing His very name sinful since words are a form of depiction? Or how about when those who lived with and saw Him remembered His appearance? Was the conjuring of mental images in the minds of the Apostles or even Mary sinful?

Christ was a man. He had a body. The it says you cannot depict God,not because he is shy, but because it will always be deceptive, because he has no body. But the incarnation gives him a body. Not show the father is one thing, but the reason not to depict Christ in the ot, is removed in the nt

Michael Walker I think Fr. is not saying someone you are courting that is virtuous will not be kind. But if they're virtuous they'll tell you like it is. Ex. "Okay Mike time for you to leave. This is a bad occasion for us. Go home now. Call me tomorrow " People today could take that as being disinterested. Not attracted to you. When she just wants to maintain purity. She's not gonna give into lust/fornication. To be blunt you want a girl who loves God more than you. Then she will always be faithful, modest, pleasing and help you to heaven as you help her.

That's not the best way to present it, because most women with this issue won't have the charity to care anyway. From the book " To Save a Thousand of Souls" by fr Brett Brannen However, I would argue that, in a sense, every young person who has grown up in the U.S. since the 1960s has been sexually abused-visually and emotionally-simply by living in this sexually disordered culture. Many, if not most, young people have been robbed of their sexual latency period, that beautiful time of life when a little child is simply unaware that he or she is a sexual creature. They are most often robbed by seeing some explicit sexual act on television, the internet, or in print. I do not say that every young person has been sexually abused in this way to encourage a “victim mentality,” but only to say that for a man trying to live a holy and pure life, it can be very challenging to reverse the sexual disintegration caused by the culture. This is true for all men,
