7 Best DIY Mousetraps ● All Capture and Release !
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
All of the mousetraps I have made over the last 2 years are capture and release which makes them very earth friendly. You can make any of them yourself quite easily. Just catch it and then relocate it outside. Teach your kids to treat animals fairly and responsibly. If you have mice in your house, any of these traps will catch the little rascals safely and easily.
Note:
Mice are timid when they are in the bottle. As you put the cap on there is no fear that they will just run out of the bottle onto you. When you put the bottle on the ground, it may take the mouse up to 10 minutes to leave.

@@chrisnotap Thanks for the free pets! We got deer mice up here in Maine and they're super cute. Caught two about a month ago with your trap and they're doing great, very spoiled and friendly.
Is it weird that I think that the mouse in the video was super cute? Love your videos! They’re really interesting!

Colette Ford absolutely not he was cute AF especially when he started rubbing his little face and lickin up the peanut butter scraps. That shits the best. That’s why I can’t stand traditional mouse traps. Those little guys are so adorable, I’d feel notable hurting them in any way.

I had a pet BABY mouse for a while (my mom found him by himself, but he didn't seem like he had any issues to us so we figured why not) but my jackass brother decided to FEED HIM TO MY CAT while I was out trying to get him food for the first time. I was so sad, the poor thing didn't have a chance and was only like a week old😭😭😭

I love the humaneness of these. I tried to convince my parents to let me make these, but they said no. I know that when I'm older, if I ever have a rat or mouse problem, I'm going to do at least one of these. Thank you.

I totally understand you. I tried to suggest to friends to capture their three baby mouse and the mom, but they don't like rats at all. They killed them. It was hard for me to see them dying. There was nothing I could have done. It wasn't my house.

@@NicoTineman my parents use the inhumane glue and poison traps and my dad “jokes” about putting a bullet through the mice’s head. Hi Chris! I just want to thank you for making this awesome video. We have been dealing with mice shewing on and destroying things in the house including our dishwasher. So I turned to KZread for tips, found your video and immediately made a trap using this principle. It worked! The little bastard got caught! We released him today. You have a new subscriber 👍
Chris thank you for creating these humane mouse traps. I'm going to share this with my 2nd graders. We recently had a mouse in our closet and the kids scared it out of the room! Some of the children were worried when one of the boys talked about killing it. I assured the class we would not be killing the mouse and would let it go. I am sure there are more because it looked like a baby. As a science project, we will make humane traps:-)

I just found a cute little mousy in my housy and this was the first video I happened to click on for safe traps. I cant wait to try one of these :)
Very well done sir. I've had many pet rats over the years and loved them. Mice just seem to be smaller versions of same. I'll be building several of your designs later today as my mouse population here is getting to be a little overwhelming. Have a great life and thanks again. Ratty Ron
Bless you. My husband has been using the kill traps, and I cry every time. I'm always looking for catch and release traps.

Thank you for your compassion, from the bottom of my heart!
I just want to thank you for this diy. Our house had a little unwelcomed guest for almost 3 months. We used over 50 glue traps but the little guy proved to be super smart and wouldn't step on any of them! Unitl i saw your video and made my own bottle trap using carboard, chopstick, and tape. I used sunflower seeds and chocolate cookie as bait . The little guy got caught today ! Just 4 days after I made the trap. Also glad that it was caught in the live trap instead of the glue. It will be free soon!
These are genius! More of these please
I really appreciate your informative and awesome videos.

adorable little critters. Those little field mice have the biggest black eyes. I used to catch tones of them. My back yard use to be a corn field and they were plentiful. Would always walk them back out to that field and let them go, knowing that the next day I'd get it again or one just like it.
Thank you! I appreciate your creativity. iAm trying one tonight! 🙃

Actually ever shot is a different mouse. First I make the trap. Then I prove the concept and capture at least 3 wild mice outdoors to prove they can be captured and not chew their way out of it. The last mouse I catch, I then use it in the "theatre" to shoot the video and to show how it works. It's always dicey because they are always trying to escape.

Hello Chris I have just found your channel and I think you are great I like the earth friendly approach. I myself am a highly spiritual person and I think no matter how weird the animal is wether it’s a rat a mouse or even a wasp I won’t kill anything unless it’s suffering. So I appreciate your work and I think you are a great person thank you Chris

This was a fantastic thing to come across since acquiring a new house guest. Needed a trap idea that would also not harm my beagle that let's face it when food around so is she.
This made me want to trap them to keep them as pets! Such cute little bunch
Thanks for sharing! These little buggers are driving me nuts. Theres a family of them inside my new rental place, and pooping on the dang counters.. yet I don't want to kill the buggers
yay traps that don’t hurt them!!
Thank you
Amazing traps! I bought a catch and release trap and used it today for the first time. The first mouse I caught quickly and things were fine, but the second mouse got trapped under the snap door, so I'm not too pleased with that trap. The mouse was well enough to run away smoothly when I lifted the door, but I'm looking for another trap to replace it that's less likely to fail.
Those traps would have been ideal for when I was little, as I was keen on capturing mice and then releasing them.
This helps me so much sense we have lots of rats! I just make a mouse trap, catch the mouse, and set it free!🐁
