I know how to play this piece and I play it a lot, but I can assure you that the level of synchronisation that this piece requires, particularly between your breath, your fingers and the speed at which your eyes have to read the score is technically very difficult. This is a very impressive orchestra, espcially for their age. And even more impressive, because I can't see any monitoring, whether in-ear or on stage speakers. Players like triangle, drums, timpani etc. are very important to an orchestra. Especially timing wise, as these instruments are usually played by a single musician, not a section (like violins etc.). So if a triangle player messes up, it will be noticable. If a single violin player messes up, you probably won't notice it, because the other players are still playing correctly. The sections of violins, violas, basses etc. are not only played by multiple musicians to make it sound bigger, but to make it sound even.
