I am glad that you did! I just graduated college too and will be moving in y first apartment as well and I just had my comforter and sheet, but now I want to upscale this! Although I will still be using a twin, I think its still worth it! So I am glad that I can use my old stuff still and will just be purchasing a duvet.

I took your advice, snd bought a set of white Mellanni sheets from Amazon. Oh my goodness, you weren’t kidding!! They are HEAVENLY!! They are hands down the softest sheets I have ever slept on…..absolutely delightful. The Queen set is $32.97 plus tax, and I promise you they are worth every penny! Thank you for the recommendation! 💖

Did you use the king size throw/blanket at the end of your bed or the queen size? I just bought the pottery barn Belgian linen duvet, euro shams, and diamond quilt for my queen size bed. I went with the flagstone because I have a dog that is constantly on the bed getting it dirty. I was thinking about going with the king size shams and pillows but was afraid they would be too large and hang too far off the bed. I plan to do white sheets and maybe mix in the natural linen color quilt or throw at the end of the bed. I ordered a gray antelope lumbar pillow from Etsy but now that I've seen yours, I wish I had gone with the 36" bolster! I love it! I'm not good at putting things together and I see so many things that I love that I end up not being able to decide and don't buy anything! lol. I'm also doing my guest bedroom and doing it all in white! I'm jealous of my guests already! lol

I love the idea, I have white sheets, I bring out when company is coming over. I have 1, 3, and 4 years old boys that will turn my whites into a Crayola coloring book. I need high- end designs for people with kids, especially boys. Let me rephrase that high end, and durable ideas. Thanks

I was waiting for you to step back at the end so we could've seen a full view of the finished bed. I realise we could see most of it but it just left me feeling a bit disappointed that you went to all that trouble and then we didn't get to see the full finished product!

When she used the blue/grey comforter that’s normally a coverlet or quilt not another comforter, so you could use your coverlet & tuck it like she showed and then just have a duvet at the end of your bed more for looks or if you ever do get a little chilly!

I know this is an older video that I am just seeing - but I have always wondered why use a duvet - instead of just using the white comforter?

Is this the charcoal or light gray version of the Macy's bed?

What is a comforter? Same as duvet cover?

Hey, i like your vid. I would like to upgrade my bed, too. I only don‘t understand the sense of the Comforter. We in Germany and most other countrys in Europe, use a Duvet with a Duvet cover, only. This cover you can wash by 60 ºC (140 °F) or if you were sick (flu) you can wash it by 90 ºC (194°F). You can change it weekly. Can you wash your Comforter at this temperatur and so often? Is it not to hot to sleep with Comforter and a Duvet? I think it’s not hygienic if you can not washing your bedding at 60 ºC. Or do you use the Comforter just for a good looking bed? For what is a Comforter good for? I can not find nowhere my answer. Please someone help me🥺☺️. (Sry my english is not so good).

Comforter mainly to make your bed look cute and yes we wash our comforter once a month

FYI the best luxury sheets are bamboo, it's not just the look it's the feel of being wrapped in a super soft cozy hug! ALL of my sheet sets are bamboo, I will never go back to Egyptian cotton.

Are you sure 26in throw pilliows? My queen measures around 60in so 3 of those the numbers just arent adding up in my head. Thanks

To have a chop pillow you need a feather pillow simples

oops! the actual pillows are 26x26 and the pillow covers are 24x24!

Seems all the Americans love a lot of pillows and high tufted headboards and all beat pillows like somebody was practising karate on it and put these karate pillows straight up.
