As a veteran F2P my recomendations are: 1 - Level up Arash and his 3rd skill and Chen Gong, they are the best for the 1st wave wipe 2 - Do your History, Free quests, Interludes and Rank Ups... 3 - If you have more than 1 Kscope...NEVER fuse them.... ¬¬ NEVER 4 - 3* characters are your best friends, and in sometimes the best options for some fights, so level them 5 - This one is a little hard, but try to create a limit when your pull the gacha, let's say you want a character in the future, but right now there is a character that you like but don't need or isn't your priority, put a limit like 2x10 rolls, and thats it...(This depends on the limits you put yourself) 6 - Do the weekly misions, those fragments can create miracles 7 - Try to save your tickets for when you need them. 8 - Always aim to get good supports (Merlin, Skadi, Waver, Tamamo, Castoria) when they are available, but never forget about the 1,2, 3 and 4 star supports (Shakespeare, Paracelsus, Mozart, Helena), getting and leveling supports helps taking your account even further 9 - Save your apples for lotteries, or events where theres something you need 10 - Select friend with a good variety of servants to have options when creating parties and strategies

Saving Quartz isn't hard, but saving tickets... I mean, I'm using them to get the Event CE, so that I can collect the items in the Event Shop easier. I wish I can savet them, but it feels so hard to do...

@@sparda6179 a lot of the events give some number of apples. If you use those in combination with friend supports with the gacha ce's, and don't waste natural AP during the event, you should be able to farm most shops easily

@@sparda6179 for me i save all my 7 day tickets, or any other ticket that is in the box and use the ones i get from event missions or the 5 per month...but only if i need to used them, like Kidynamo123 says almost every event has enough time using some apples and friends CE's to get what you need from the shop.

Having a plan is the best advice for a F2P. If you're on NA, use the 2 year clairvoyance!! I'm F2P, but knowing who I want and planning a saving plan has let me get basically all the characters I really wanted!

As somewhat of a dolphin myself, this is advice that really everyone who plays the game can benefit from, not just F2P players. Despite having a lot of really good units I know for sure I'd have an even better account were I more diligent with saving my quartz and investing time during events.

Ugh... me too. I've been so careless with rolls lately. Sure I've gotten lots of neat stuff, but... do I actually need them? Not so much.

And another tip: Be content with any SSR you receive be it a rate-up or not. It's a reality that you will encounter in any gacha other than FGO.

This is very true. People get stuck in a mindset of a unit being "bad", rather than thinking about how they can use them effectively or deal with their downsides.

I 100% support this vid. As someone who is F2P and had to roll literally down to the last chance for Sitonai which took me around 960 SQ (between SQ and tix), saving is THE ONLY reason I was able to get her on literally the bonus of the last shot. If I hadn't meticulously plotted out all of my rolls last year, I wouldn't have been able to get one of the units I'd been wanting for the longest time.

Also, put your 10/10/10 or high skilled, SR servants as supports, instead of low skilled SSR servants. You're more likely get friend points and friend accepts with low rarity but high skilled servants, than high rarity but low skilled servants.

I think most people choose support servants based off of how cool they are when they start the game so they wouldn’t be looking for Servants with high skill levels but instead how cool they looked

@@reddithirumuri5479 Unless I needed a specific servant to get through some challenging fight I just chose something cool or that I hadn't seen before (to see their NP), so you are correct. You don't really face a situation where 90-100 lvl support can't power through the quest regardless of it's type until about Camelot anyway.

i feel like one thing to keep in mind when applying this tips or just playing fgo in general, is to pace yourself, when i started all of my friend was like this, saving the gapples, doesn't let their ap rots, waiting for 1/2 ap campaign etc for max effectiveness, while i just do farm when i feel like itand using gapples a lot, now it is not effective at all, borderline wasteful even, but it's better than going X hundreds/thousands of days since last login like the rest of my friend.

I personally do not take any of the SQ's in the present box until a super strong support comes out. It works out extremely well. The amount of time between strong support banners is long. It's how i got Merlin, Skadi, Waver, and soon Castoria. (NA btw)

I started playing about 2 months ago and the advice from this channel was super helpful. I spent money on the gssr but that's it. So far I've been able clear the summer event and the first main story with (minimal) difficulty. I did find that spending ~200 quartz early on in one of the banners was very helpful in filling out my 3-star roster and getting CEs to take on tougher sections of the story.

The importance of QP would be a good thing to add to this since it factors into just about everything, but you did post a video on it before so all is well! Further emphasizing it - I was f2p over a year ago and accumulated over 300 million QP with time. Went down to 0 mainly due to craft essences lol

If anyone is NA F2P, you need to research upcoming banners. There are websites that have the entire JP schedule laid out for you to plan around. I started playing about 3 years ago and I wanted to start saving ASAP for Merlin's banner two years later. I never made any quartz rolls outside of a surprise banner JP did not get. I would throw a couple tickets here and there, but my quartz stash was to remain untouched. I even withheld playing the majority of the story because I didn't want to go through without having my own Merlin. This wasn't for META reasons either. I genuinely love everything about Merlin, and I wanted the most genuine Master/Servant experience possible. I am currently doing the same thing for Morgan in 2023. This game is not your typical unit collector. Servants are supposed to feel rare and special; it's not designed for F2P to collect'em all.

I would like to see CE exp bombs added to these tips. That is something extremely powerful. To those who don't know I would structure that point as: Save your FP. The FP gacha might be free and having those half a million points to blow looks tempting to get some free fou and exp, but it is better if you save them for 2 opportunities: 1- Events, to get the 3* shop currency ce mlb. It will make farming a lot more manageable. 2: 2x success chance campaigns. Upgrading high rarity ce's can get really expensive really fast. But there is a way to make it a lot cheaper. Those are CE exp bombs. When you upgrade a CE it banks all the exp that you have put into it. And you can get a lot of low rarity CEs from the friend point gacha. Upgrading a low rarity CE is a lot cheaper when it comes to QP that it is with a high rarity one. So you can just level a bunch of 2* star CEs to level 55 and keep them until you get a 5* CE that you want to level. It takes 6 two star CEs to bring a 5* from level 15 to level 100. And it won't cost you an arm and a leg to do so using this method. Just takes some time and diligence.

Speaking as a four year Veteran and recently former orca, let me throw my hat in the ring. 1. When it comes to playing events, don't be pressured into going 100% hambone if your schedule does not allow it. Doing the bare minimum for an event, I.E., finishing the event story and at least attempting to NP5 the welfare, if applicable, will be more than enough. I've seen a few friends of mine not get certain goals done because of poor time management. 2. If you are feeling burnt out from the game- take a break. As ancient as FGO is by this point, it's no secret many players hit burnout points and not bother with dailies. I myself have hit that a fair number of times and much like anything in life, it's okay to take a step back for a while to breathe and clear your head. It does the mind good. 3. Make sure to clear the story at your own pace. This ties into point 1 about doing the bare minimum for events and going about your way. With that being said, there are going to be future events down the line, such as GudaGuda 6 next year, that will require you to be up to date on the story to participate. As Khad said, take advantage of the Story Clear Aid campaigns to get caught up. Worry about the Free Quest cleanup for later and try not to bum rush the story, as later chapters in the Lostbelt arc will put you to the test if unprepared.

Something else to add kind of in the have a plan situation is look at future banners and save for supports and roll for units after you've tried rolling for the support. Any quartz left over after getting it you can then put towards the next must have servant that isn't a support because most have had other rate-ups and we have clairvoyance so we might as well take advantage of it.

My advice dont let people fool you. Skadi, Merlin and co are nice but you dont need them to beat the story. Maybe for 3 turn farm but no more

I started playing 2 yrs ago when the pandemic started and i barely rolled on the 2020 banners to save for the 2021 banners (they had so many of the servants that i wanted). But i found Part 1 pretty challenging too - eventually i did 2-3 10-rolls on the standard banner bc i needed better CEs at least. Thats where i got my first KScope and that 3-hit evade CE and it was mostly smooth sailing for the rest of Part 1.

Been playing since the game got released. One thing that anyone should know is that they should NEVER waste AP. When playing any games, especially ones where whales are involved there are obtain players who can make up for lost time using cash. This is largely not the case for FGO. If an old FGO player stops playing for a month, heck, even four months, the newer FGO player can start to surpass that old player in terms of materials, experiences, saint quartz. FGO has the benefit of rewarding a loyal player base, not one that spends money on a whim. This means that a newer player can surpass an older player through harder work than the older player. This means utilizing AP's and saving quartz for when it matters and doing events for more saint quartz can allow a F2P player to compete against whales who spend Saint Quartzes on a whim. This is why whales still have to do events and keep up on grinding materials; even though it may be easier for them. Saint quartz cannot buy all of the FGO game, this is what makes the game fruitful in the end. It is not about the amount of money you can spend; it is the amount of dedication you can put in the game.

A good starting point I found for myself is to level an AOE unit for every class, IN ADDITION to a single target unit for every class. Lots of quests and fights are dramatically easier when you have more options. If after doing that, you don't really know who to level next, do it again, this time for maybe different NP types. Is your current aoe saber buster? Well get a aoe arts/quick next. Thanks to friend units, you can easily take advantage of other peoples skadi's/castorias to make things laughably easy, you just need the units that they will be amping up. (I'm ofc referring to the 1-3 star/welfare 4 stars. Look through them, there's far more really good 1-3 star units than bad ones.)

To your point at around 9 mins in, I totally agree with this as a F2P besides guarenteed gachas. What I do is keep on my phones notepad a list of all servants that I want to roll for. I color code based on the priority I want to give them & also record how many saint quartz I've spent on each servant. Then give more priority to servants ive struck out on the most by spending the most SQ & not getting them. That way next time they come up I'll remember I really need to go for them. This helps make it feel like I'm always getting closer to the servants I want, even if I strike out the first time or even first few times.

Uh... That last one hits hard. But, sometimes it benefits you. I once aimed for Majin Okita but I got tempted... And I pulled Semiramis, Arthur and Waver. I may have failed but I dont regret rolling.

You forgot to mention something. Most efficient way of leveling servants is to take advantage of 2x Exp rate and the increase chance of super and great success whenever they implement them. I hoard and hold the neutral embers i got from daily bonus, events, and mana prism shop in the gift box since they can last for 365days before expiring until the next double XP rate comes up. That way i can lvl twice the number of servants than simply using them right of the bat.

Hi one month old player here and I agree that F2P players can do quite a lot, the recent tower event? I cleared all stages with mostly my 1-3 stars servants. I say mostly cause I did use one SSR and that’s Gilgamesh. But he was only able to perform in very few stages. What carried me are Hans, Cursed Arm, SantaGale, Arash, and Barti.

Been saving since April, and I have 920 SQ currently! I'm guaranteed to get Muramasa now

Good thing i picked this all up on the go early on into game now i have a really stacked account without spending anything and all the servants max ascended and soon to max levelled in few months.

I roll on every banner cause I already have my favourite Servant so idc what I get from now on, it feels good not to have the pressure of having to save

-save SQ and tickets, do not try to get every SSR, leveling-maxing their skills such a chore, choose visely, do not waste all your QP-mats to single servant just because its high rarity, sometimes max ascended 3 star 1 or 2 units perform better than NP1 SSR and cost less. -learn how to use taunt, get all 3 outfits from chaldea gate, learn buff staking, level up mash, keep guts, np battery, sure hit and party np charge after defeat CEs in your inventory. -max ascend every free low rarity unit, do their rank up-quests get that sweet free SQ. -use class advantage, that shiny lvl 100 archer SSR unit get its ass kicked by some lancer bronze skeleton nobody, thats why there is no "strongest" servant in this game, only support units get highest tier because they are useful in almost every fight.. -hire low lvl newbie masters servants time to time, be a good sport. -F2P np5 SSR is not an impossible dream, never forget that, choose yourself a goal, dont try to hunt two hares same time. -write your transfer code-player id somewhere, take screeshots of them and remember some friends names (its useful for getting your account back from DW support if some bad thing happens) -look other tips from online, there is so much useful info out there especially FGO wiki for servant info and upcoming NA events. -think long and hard who to use that one time only free max ascend from da-vinci shop, you never know who to get before it ends (90 days if I remember correctly) -Good luck! try to complete main story as soon as possible otherwise you cant join some upcoming future events and miss bunch of free stuff even SR esport servants, I missed caster shuten because of this.

You can do it. Start by forming a list of targets you'd like and doing some research on them. Ask yourself who you really want to focus on the most out of those, and then pick 2-3 of them and you'll have your answer for who to save for!

I think its all about time. As someone who has only spent money on 4 GSSR banners, every servant I have is fully ascended. It took me 3 years to do though

My bit of advice: 1. Make sure you set up your support formation and understand you can offer 3 sets of friend supports to other players. Far too many new players never do this and leave a level 1 mash as their only friend support, then wonder why their friend invitations get rejected. From there use the early free quests to friend farm. they're really easy to do, and that is your chance to get some really potent friend supports for when you really need them. 2. Backup your save any time you either make substantial progress or get lucky at a pull. You never know when your phone just decides to die, and you really don't want to lose everything. 3. don't look down on FP servants. Many of them are not just usable, but can serve integral parts of a formation, and don't take up too much space, which especially early on is real limited. 4. the only time it truly is worth spending money is during one of the guaranteed SSR banners.

Yo, I saw your video about the Chaldea app and tried it... but it just doesn't work for me :') It won't show me any icons and it won't update in any way shape or form (on PC). I am day 1 NA F2P player and I have to say, saving sure helps, but is not a guarantee either. I am still suffering from PTSD from the first Tamamo banner, lol. I usually roll twice a year, summer and any other banner I want, so can use around 900 SQs each, and use the tickets to roll for CEs or servants that are not my priority or that I just don't have the SQs to roll for at the moment. If I am lucky, I get what I want or some spook to make up for it, and so far it works... fine? I got NP3 Space Ishtar with tickets while trying to get Jane, and when I rolled for Benienma, I used all the 1200 SQs I had saved for just a single copy and NOTHING else, so yeah... RNG works in mysterious ways.

Don't forget that Waver is a welfare in JP and will be soon in NA too. Because of this, if you want to reroll, do it for Kaleidoscope in the story gacha. I'm not kidding, that CE is hard to get in the pick-up gachas (because of the pick-up CEs being rated up, making Kscope less likely) that everyone rolls and it's more powerful for most accounts than the majority of 5 stars in the game.

Hey Khad, great stuff and definitely some things that I wish someone had told me when I first started playing haha. A few quick tricks I’ve picked up that I thought I’d add to maybe help new players etc: 1. With regards to AP efficiency, once you start a quest the game will subtract the AP for it, so if you’re tight on time and about to hit AP cap, take 1min to start a 40AP quest and then go back to irl. It’ll buy you 3+ more hr of natural AP regen before you’ll hit cap. 2. I definitely agree with focusing on a few units at a time, a few max level events welfare SR can really carry the rest of your account, but Don’t expect/try to level a specific units skills to 9/9/9 ASAP. Spamming a specific training grounds for gems/mats is a huge AP sink, which for newer players is probably better spent clearing story to unlock some of the really good FQ and story-locked characters (looking at you Asclepius)… for example it will cost like 480+ AP to farm up 12 yellow skill gems via training grounds. That’s 2 days worth of natural AP regen and enough AP to clear an entire ACT 1 or 1.5 story chapter. 3. Use Chaldea. I know you already said this in your video. But just want to emphasize. Started using it after watching your video on it and it’s awesome. 4. Don’t let tickets/embers in monthly MP shop “rot”. We get way more than enough MP per month than necessary to buy these. Equivalent to 6 free Multi’s per year and 600 4* embers. 5. Join Khad’s discord, :p awesome and helpful community, and great resource for guides, asking for specific help on a quest/event, or a friend support, etc.

a warning about no 1, if you do that then you will not get notification about full ap, so uh... you better not forget to turn on fgo. Kinda sucks to remember it like several hours after its full ap, or the next day.

Haha using a couple for high priority goal is fine, but I find that people fall into the trap of just always falling behind and using apples to bail them out. That or they get addicted to power grinding dailies or free quests when they're not on reduced cost.

I will have the equivalent of 600 sq by the time castoria banner roles around should I role for her or wait until I have 900 to guarantee something

there is only 4 thing i think is important: save apple ( if you out of apple save form the event to the 7th day to farm that is when best note open) use arash chengong and habetrot( they save our soul ) target 1 hight teir support and spam the living shit out of them ( we can even get away with it via ranmaru, waver, davinci ruler) dont be to hight on bait

That time DW messed up the time with Gudaguda last year, I sure was lazy but I knew I could have gotten the welfare if not because of the time issue.

so i've made a rule for myself. i refuse to drop below 100 golden apples unless it's an emergency or a lottery.

As someone who has been playing for ~3 years, one tip I have is to just use your natural AP for dailies and MAAAAYYYBEE 1 or 2 silver apples. Never EVER use golden apples/rainbow apples for the dailies. Their drop rates suck and you're better off waiting for an event that has those mats or the hunting quests. Made that mistake early on and I suffered during Gilfest

One thing about being f2p is having a truckload of materials, more than you'll ever need, because of rarely pulling new units. It's like Christmas when finally being able to pull on a planned banner.

Ok now the question is, how much time do u have spent on that account? Because I have spent over a year efficiently spending my AP and my account looks nowhere near yours.

The Defeatist mentality issue is real. Seeing all these Looping "systems" include SSRs or event units I am not able to get was really discouraging. However I saw that more of a crutch with a lot of these "f2p loop setup" videos on KZread. Especially the ones that revolve around Chen Gong. So instead of just thinking that they were just another lazy video with a K-Scope or whatever, I looked at why the servants were being used. I counted out how much the total battery and damage buff values were, and I made a truly budget 3 Turn Chen Gong setup that has room to improve as bonds go up/I get more pulls as well as NA getting more Rank Up quests. This game isn't super intuitive and until one knows about what they are looking for a ton of "guide" content is useless for the demographic they allegedly target; so it is much worse. However taking some time and reading the Servants skills and then being curious about the math behind it should get one well on there way.

Saving also has some drawbacks during my first playthrough of fgo i saved 8 months worth of saint quartz only to not get the ssr that i wanted and in that 8 months i never got a single ssr it made me quit the game now on my 2nd playthrough i made a new account i just yolo roll and be happy whatever the game gives me. I was able to get a few ssr in my first 3 months

It can, but the reverse could have also happened. You could keep yoloing and go through periods of time where you just don't get anything. The gacha is fickle no matter how you play and saving is the only way to increase your odds of getting what you want.

@@Khadroth got castoria now my account is 9months in i have a total of 17 ssr and 48 sr including dupes got no ssr dupes and only spend during the gssr

I thought that would be what every f2p would do naturally since you can't spend on the game you use the ressources you do have, ap,qp,xp most efficiently. It took me 3 lottos to max my entire box, skill gems too, should never be a problem again.

You'd think, but sadly no there's a lot who convince themselves it's not worth it or tell themselves they can't do it.

Saving for summer musashi,castoria then senji Im hoping to get 1/3(castoria at least) Basically cheap to play rarely crack the wallet..but next year banners NA banners…hopefully that goes well lol.

The one advice that I would give really is to Future proof your accounts. Why is it that NA players can predict the banners that they want to roll on? Because JP is ahead. With that, NA players can future proof what servants they want based on the JP schedule and essentially ignore the banners that come before the servant banners they want. Pre farm for them. SAVE.

Hey man I started the game at around December and so far I have 2 SSR units(Jack and Napoleon) I'm currently saving for Caster Artoria and Senji Muramasa so I wanted to know how long it takes to save for 2 SSR's and how much Saint Quartz I'll need also thanks for the video it's really good and I hope using what you've told me ill be able to have a good account

Assuming this is NA, I'd keep on saving. Castoria is a very important unit and sadly the NA server doesn't have any sort of pity system yet. On average it would be around 270 quartz for an SSR, but I've personally experienced stuff like going over 2000 without getting a single one. This is why we tell people to save, it lessens the odds of you getting shafted by the gacha. Certainly saving for both of those two units will give you a great shot at landing them if you don't get tempted by something else first, as they're 6 months apart and that's a really good time period for saving.

Same man, started at october last year, so far in shimousa just doing all the free quests to get all the SQs so far I'm debating to roll for some servants (like jeanne for extra classes and for difficult fights since I don't have some) or do I just have to save them for castoria and Vergi- i mean Hajime. Kinda just ditching hajime cuz next year is kinda packed

I have two fgo accts that I started 4yrs ago. One that I spend money on and the other is totally f2p no gssrs. My main has 39 ssrs while my f2p acct has 33. It has really good servants too so I'm playing it too just because it'd be a waste not to. But don't be discouraged as f2p you just might get lucky. I no longer spend money on my main acct except for gssrs.

Get heracules on the beginner summon. Then put him in the back of team till you get his bond 10. Trust me he save my ass multiple times! Heracles is the embodiment of clutcher.

This. Hes the best anchor in the game hands down. He’s Bond CE is coincidentally also the best in the game by a mile. Some later bosses can get through two levels of invincibility or worse just go straight through any defense. Herc (especially after you do lostbelt 5) can hit like a truck and survive like no unit. It’s actually fun to watch him rip victory out of certain defeat. Ps. Append his first skill to add even more to his solo/last man standing power.

Me who didn't even know the Apples gave AP...

I'll be honest, I'm glad I don't spend money on this game outside of the one time I tried to get Saberstolfo on the GSSR and failed to do so (did get Nero Bride which is pretty decent), because I have zero self restraint. If there's a gacha rate up going on that has servants I want, I spend every SQ and ticket I have on it, and usually end up with nothing but CEs because the game hates me. Currently I'm aiming for my wife Mordred's rate up on the Apocrypha banner so I can just use the free SSR on Waver and be done with it. Although knowing my luck. RNGesus will snap my neck and give me CEs instead.

point number 6, if the chance came and I had SQ or Ticket, I give a shot gamble my luck (still play for free in 1500 days login)

I've so little time to play that I've had over 500 gold apples for about a year now, I do wellll on clearing events though, I've also been playing for a while so allot of my ppl are leveled up

I should roll for SR like illya if I got the SR on the banner I'm done not getting that SRR

My biggest recommendation for F2Ps that K wish I had known sooner Do not neglect/disregard Mozart seriously even if his second skill is ass his first and 3rd skills are game changers. Also Ushiwaka will be your best friend Especially throughout the lostbelts since apparently half of these lostbelt servant bosses and lostbelt kings are caster class which will allow you to make Swiss cheese of them with ushi Chances are that a lot of these low level/rarity servants you don't think much about can do so much in the way of support or even dealing damage. You'd be surprised what you can do if you experiment enough with low rarity compositions Also if you're the kinda guy who burns or uses 3 star ces to level up other ces Do not DO NOT Burn battle of camlann Keep it Please keep it. It will do you huuuuge favours.

Overall good tips. Especially the ones about finishing your units, having some kind of plan an saving quartz. But to tell the truth optimization on level when I do 1/2 AP campaigns to save AP to save apples to spend them on lottos is not for me. During lottos I have difficulties to reach even 100 boxes. And this is not because I don't have apples or AP, but because doing this is sooo boring. Don't get me wrong. I like playing FGO. But for me repeating the same quest with the same team over and over again is as far from good gameplay as it can possibly be. That is why when I see reviews of new units and there is this one question: "Can he/she loop" or "Can he/she enable looping" I tend to think that for people out there FGO is game that exist two times during a year - lotto time to be specific. Really? This is the ultimate fun of FGO? The ability to 3-turn one quest in a year x 1000 times? Of course I have Skadi. I have Dantes, Parvati, Zerkerlot and other units. But to tel the truth after last lottery I felt... tired of FGO. During non lotto events I just use servants that I want to use. And even if it takes me 10 turn I feel more joy than 3 turn farming. If I do 3 quest over 10 hours then it doesn't matter if this fight will take 10 turns. Ok, end of my random rant :) Now my little list of tips: 1. If you are not confident in your rider or lancer put level 1 Georgios and Leonidas on you support list - it will help all those guys who want to try solo something. 2. If you have her then put BB on your support list. From my perspective avengers - who have offensive NP - are much more a threat than defensive rulers, and having someone on your friend list who has Moon Cancer can be blessing (based on my experience) 3. At the end of a day this is a single player game. Play in a way that gives you the much joy and if you don't want then don't listen this knowledgeable guy from the video or anyone commenting this video :)

The biggest periods of burnout FGO experiences tend to be in October and January. Both months right after lottos. It's certainly monotonous especially in stuff like fest events where we only have 3 nodes. But not only will it be getting easier but more variant into the future. The other way I manage to push through, is the knowledge of everything I'm getting with the runs I'm doing. I have people ask me all the time how I manage to keep focused and I just tell them to watch something while you play. Eventually what you're doing becomes muscle memory and you can just grind without having to keep your mind on it.

@@Khadroth I tried to watching stuff during farming but either I cannot concentrate on things I watch and thus I end watching the same fragment many times or I don't pay enough attention to FGO and I screw up skills. I guess I am not a multitask person :)

I wish I saw this before I used all my apples in my JP account. Now I'm just broke af.

One little nitpick I have with the second point ("f2p's can level every servant they own up") kinda glosses around the fact that your account is at least 3 and a half years old (judging by the presence of Irisviel in it). And even of you clear all story quests really slowly, you will run out of things to do in the first half of a year, which you will do with a fully leveled dozen. Putting aside the fact that playing with the same dozen of characters for half a year isn't the most fun thing (games with more depth to them can pull it off, but not fgo), the fact is, after finishing all the available story quests, there isn't much left to do except to wait for some event to begin (and we have experienced not just dead months, we experienced whole dead seasons). And on top of that, the game hates when you play it, only giving you like 20 minutes of gameplay each day that are forcefully split into two sessions of 10 minutes unless you use apples, of which you don't get that many. So I don't blame people who gave up on spending their AP efficiently to instead use apples to offset FGO's horrendous game design.

That's not really a nitpick. Yes my account is almost exactly 3.5 years old (summer Ishtar was my first welfare right as I started). But i've also had all units leveled since it was 2 years old. All I'm pointing out is that its possible, but I've had people claim otherwise. There's a ton of advantages to leveling all of your units and it helps being able to combat anything the game throws your way.

I think it’s better to be F2P. Whaling doesn’t buy you luck. Outside of GSSR spending feels risky.

I think even just doing GSSR's is really all you need most of the time. You get so much extra value with none of the risk of having to go deep.

I remember that time when i got baited by Morgan's banner and guess what?... I actually got her lol

It's so hard not to throw a few SQ at banners. I just need to make it to Castoria ^^;

5:20 honestly thats so much me, i just see those super high leveled accounts, with so many servants i want and them leveled to 90 and 10/10/10. My dream is to one day have an account like that And btw i don't think thats just because i'm not a whaler ...

When is the next half cost campaign Also I spent 40 quartz I got some good servants and ces and now I'm satisfied I want to wait for a good powerful servant that can deal the crazy damage that I see pros dealing with the buff stacks

Like Japanese man in the body of water once said. "Never give up!!" If u think ur account is not good, don't worry just look at mine.

Forget the AP efficiency please. My account used zero golden apples and always completed events... To do so, I would focus on guides to know how to easily defeat hard nodes and would skip story (because ofc story nodes are 0 AP and reading is ap waste). I burned myself out big time and will probably need a new account to experience fgo truly. Also i never found servant levels hard to level... Usually since u can make a daily node 3t easily. Big problem was materials so ye events are mvp (only time in my account I specifically grinded mats was in fuyuki for bonezzzz) Only interlude i did without half ap was one for gil's third skill lmao I have a conspiracy theory that throwing yolos at random ones increases luck compared to dumping all of your quartz into one person wants. Maybe this is me just having my disappintement dilluted but I get much better luck that way. My advice would be to not get attatched to an unit you dont have, love whatever u get and there will be no sad spook appearences.

I'm not sure you're understanding what AP efficiency means. Reading in no way impacts your ap efficiency if you're smart about it.

@@Khadroth not just talking about 'time' spent reading that could be used to regen AP, theres also the time you won't have free - can't exactly farm while at work, school, or just doing some other important stuff.

I understand that there are lot of awesome f2p units that help u to get through hard content...but as someone who just wants to experience the story it is fcking annoying to farm for characters u don't care about also after a point in the story it gets ridiculously hard. As I have been told it is possible for f2p s to overcome it but u pretty much have invest a amount of time of your life..daily. After playing for 3months I get how balanced this game is but still I don't think the story should be locked behind such a high barrier.

Huh, I never get the "whale is unfair, their account is so strong etc etc" sentiment. Whales can't skip the grind either, so all the exp and QP comes from pure effort I mean, their only advantage is unlimited SQ

Bruh... 50+ ssr is no longer in the realm of spending a bit... assuming u got 10 of those purely from gssr and free 5 star tickets, 40 ssr would still take approximately 12000 SQs. Even if u get 1 SSR every 50 pulls, that's still 6000 SQ...

If you'll allow some constructive criticism, the music is really loud compared to your voice, it gets a bit annoying. Could you lower it a bit for the next vids? Keep it up.

I feel like the "Oh thats because you are a whale" mindset is just the mindset of anybody who hasn't played a gacha and assumes that 90% of the game is the gacha

It's a bit difficult to get setup but there should be numerous guides out there already. It becomes much easier to play for me having played on NA first as I already knew what most of the buttons did. Sites like Fandom and Cirnopedia really helped me getting going and knowing someone like Tolovetrouble helped when there was something new I didn't understand.
