True, but then again he does go to failing restaurants and if your restaurant isnt doing well theres a 90% chance its the food. Because people will tolarate lots of misshaps and rude staff if the food is fantastic.

@@2hard2find We have a similar show here in Germany, but usually its 2-3 cooks coming along and kinda playing off of each other. There was ine episode where the food was fantastic. Like legit good by a relatively young chef. But the location of the restaurant was so far away from anything that simply no one knew about the place. The 3 professional cooks were legit happy being able to show the chef some advanced skills rather than starting with the basics. Beyond that its always the food. Always.

@@izabelamilenkovska7282 that's actually a real psychological term which I cannot remember for the life of me. learned it last semester, but it basically boils down to the more somebody learns about a skill or subject, the more they realize how little they actually know about said subject. Think of it like the total amount of knowledge about a subject is a box, and the amount of an individuals knowledge is a cube in the box, somebody who knows a decent amount on the subject will have a medium size box and can barely see the edges of the box, while someone who is a novice will not even know they are inside a box and think the little of what they know is the extent of the box.

I love how the grandmas and auntie like looking cooks are the ones that make the good pastries. Their grandsons must enjoy having such a person in their family.

Gordon's psychology is really sound; he doesn't harbour grudges, or stick to one type of behaviour out of laziness. Even if someone has been an arsehole, if they start getting it right, he will show them respect and compliment them. He also recognises bullshitters, be they the staff or the bosses. I feel bad for their kid, parents shouldn’t sacrifice resources that should be spent for their child, it’s like using taxes to fund an army for an invasion that went wrong. Hopefully he’s doing well, especially since his fiance is somebody worth spending a life with.

@@RNLittorio David, the burger chef and the twin chefs from Zeke's are actually good chefs but they work with the owner who are assholes and full on denials and they are cooked according what the owners wanted which is not good. David cooked the burger based on his own menus and the twin chefs got challenged by Gordon to make good dish based on their own menus and tricked their owners that Gordon cooked it

I respect people like Gordon Ramsay because they help you grow as people. However, in SouthEast Asia they need to have some people like Gordon Ramsay. Saving face isn't something that should be tolerated.

You can tell as soon as it goes to the British version as there aren't sound effects every 3 seconds telling you what emotion you should be feeling.
