I've recently confessed to my close friend at school, and I got rejected. It was ok at first, we agreed to still be friends, but as time goes on, the more painful I feel knowing that we'd never cross the barrier of "being friends". As I dig deeper, I find out that their rejection was mainly because they were probably still upset by their previous relationship at the time of my confession. Now we still chat normally, I enjoy every moment with them, but when I'm alone I just feel hurt by my thoughts. Could anyone give me some advice on my case? Now that you gave it some time, you should think about it do you actually like the person or not, and think of your life with that person. Even though this is actually coming from a 6th grader, I have watched a lot of drama shows so I kind of know what you are going through. Also the person that rejected you just lost a great opportunity to have such a nice and kind person as their love of their life, and as you said that the person was going through a previous relationship break-up so maybe he/she might like you back and their mind is just not thinking right at that moment! Yes. I just met a girl most recently and as we were getting to know each other, I did notice that she was looking at me quite a bit and had her legs aimed towards me while sitting next to me. Single your whole life? Almost 20? 👀 My brother in Christ, you are Just getting STARTED! Now is the time to date often with the intent to Learn, meet nice people who can become good friends, and if need be... (try not to) make mistakes (but learn from them). Be upfront though, if you meet a girl who seems nice (but not someone you're falling head over heels for) then ask them if they'd be interested in dating for practice, don't lead them on. They could teach you a lot, it could be good for both of you to come out of your shell and help eachother blossom and each be more prepared for someone special. It's best to make minor, or even big mistakes and learn from them early while talking to girls who will move on and find happiness without much trouble, than to find someone special and blow it because you are not prepared. Important things to note: Love can Grow. You may not initially feel much for date friends, but overtime little things about them may start to grow on you and you will care for and even sometimes miss them long after they are gone. That's okay, these are also good things to take time to work through/get used to Early in life. Don't judge these girls or hold bitter feelings, (that won't be attractive when you Do meet 'the one' later) because that won't help you become able to love Yours unconditionally when the time comes, and this will allow you to see more positives in time as you do look back; you may find things to be fond memories that one day take precedence over the cringy mistakes we've made. We are guys, we will make them, but don't be tooo afraid to either; the right girl might find you cute and endearing for some of your Perceived 'flaws' (things that aren't really wrong, just not as great as you wish you were) However, when you do have real flaws, you must take responsibility and work on them. The cycle of personal improvement and progression goes ever on and will never cease; onward and upward!

Pretty sure you're there already. He might need some time to consider, so don't expect him to give you an answer right then and there. Make sure you let your feelings be known though. Life taught me that you will usually be left with regrets if you don't see something through. Even a rejection is a lot better than having to crawl through the hell that follows after too much hesitation. So yeah, make sure to organize your feelings and confess to him.

@@justaidoni Understandable, i mean i can tell that you ended your relationship with her in a civil manner so there's a chance that she either considers that possibility or just being polite/friendly, it just depends on how you interpret it since people have different perspective when they socialize with someone. If i were you, I'd rather ask and let her tell it to me directly if she's interested in getting back together or not, rather than being subtle about it. People are too complicated and to generalize exes with what they want with their past partners is not always 100% accurate and this causes misunderstandings if it continues, but this video is a good basis for self awareness I guess, so take notes just incase it matches.

Can I suggest a vid idea :"What to say, or do, when you are afraid of telling someone you love, or have a crush on, your feelings for fear they might misunderstand, freak out and/or shun you away." I mean u don't have to but... It would help.

On a side note, there's a big difference between liking someone and loving someone. Check if they treat you as just a crush or as their partner (bf/gf/wifey/husbando/ whatever it may be). Side note on a side note; I check this channel out while doing something and listen to topics that interest me while doing the "important stuff" and I actually become more productive, so yep, thanks and will definitely recommend.

Couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. Especially with the complicated connection I have with my crush. Or past crush I believe. But I think it’s just being friendly at this point with these signs.

I always felt like my best friend had feelings for me when we first met. He waited until everyone left before he came to talk to me. I often catch him staring from far away but he has trouble keeping eye contact when he is talking to me. I know i’m just a friend. I have to be realistic with myself. However that doesn’t mean that I will not lose hope. We are still young and our family’s are forming relationships. I’m glad he only sees me as a friend for now though, it leaves a lot of room for us to grow our relationship as we become adults. Lol ive been in that position before, and it destroyed me. It wasn't a nice situation, it even became worse but i didn't even notice until i started therapy. We're not close anymore fortunately

I do have a crush and shes falls under a lot of the crush categories. She's always eager to walk up to me and is always making eye contact and conversation with me. She also like to walk with me alone in the halls at school. Sometimes I do catch her with her friends whispering or talking close while staring at me and when I make eye contact with her she instantly looks away or keeps looking.

I wouldn’t say that about her being in love with her girl-friend, unless she is a self proclaimed lesbian lol. Signs that girls like each other are wayy different than the signs that a girl liking a boy may be. Normal girl- friends will exhibit almost all of these signs, even though they dont like each other :) hope this helps and i hope you get the one you are after

I've been watching these just so I do everything I can right- she's a classmate for the next year, and I think she's giving me the plausible deniability in case I turn her down, but she has invited me out and paid for our coffee, has given me her lunch after class because I mentioned I was hungry, we have been texting and doing a spotify collab playlist, and much more. I think I need to make it a little more obvious on my part and invite her out this week. She has already agreed to me saying that I would be paying next time. I think it's going well! What's interesting is that our course is a very physically hands-on course so that whole "initiate physical touch" thing has already happened. We have both worked on each other more than most people do with their partners, in terms of physical touch- and she chose me as her partner on the first day of class as well. I'm excited but trying to be slow. I need to keep up the flirting/interest part while still being a little casual, because again, it could get really awkward if one of us asks out the other and says no. It couldn't be me, but building it slowly will only make things better.

I dont really compliment people that much unless i genuinely mean it, so me in a discord call say "You laugh is Pretty cute....." in a very quiet voice is literally the biggest giveaway that i like my crush

Hey nice vid! Does it count if we just have like 3 months since we met each other, also we don't hang out very often, but when we do, its always just the two of us. One day she even told me if I wanted her to skip a class so we could just go for a talk. And every time we get togheter other people seem to just go away and let us alone. She also invites me to lunch and every time I ask her out she is pretty responsive, she also seem to like everything i like, she also have complimented me a couple of times and noticed every single change i make to my appearance, heck she even knows my second name even when i dont tell anyone i have a second name!. But theres a little problem where i think she is just being nice and polite with me, and that is the fact that she recently told me she just got a new boyfriend. Also weird because when im with her she dont really like to talk about him and when i talk about him she says that she accepted him because he is nice, but bothing more after that. I dont usually see her too often, so we just text each other, she says that shes bored and i tell her to dont worry im gonna make time to see her, so she says that yes whenever i want to hang out she is gonna be there, man this is so confusing. From my perspective i think she is just being nice with me. But the fact that she doesn't want me to even know her boyfriend exists I see it as weird. And also the fact that she just worries about how my day and my life is going on like we were life time friends, when we just met a few months ago and dont even hang out that much. Hehe

Bruh I flirt with everyone and physical closeness is just something I do. Also like the way my friends and I say hello to each other as we pass each other in the halls at school is just to stare at each other and wiggle our eyebrows and/or shoot a lil snap gun thing.

My crush says he doesn't like me back but he also barely talks about his love life and sometimes sounds annoyed when I talk about my past crushes😂
