Ima take a guess that you don't believe the rumors about Trae so have you ever considered why the Hawks can't seem to get anyone to come and play with Trae? Why NBA players call him the most overrated? This is a team game and if other players don't want to play with you, even when you're an all-star, says alot. From my view he deserves to be on this list. He plays one way and can’t see/accept that his teams can’t win in the playoffs if he’s the one monopolizing the ball. It’s almost like teams play better defense in the playoffs. 76ers have no 4th quarter strategy in close games. Their offense becomes stagnant. You can’t ask Embid to take 10-15 foot jump shots over and over again, and think it’s going to work against good teams. Doc Rivers is an overrated coach, and he proved that during his tenure in Philadelphia.

The hardest part to deal with Joel is the fact it's always someone else fault. Never his therefore he can never put his crap together. He kept getting hurt at the start of his career because he ate like trash and was always semi out of shape. Which is the dumbest problem for a big man. It's career ending for a big man to fool around like that and the only reason shaq got away with it for so long is he was on REALLY good put together teams when he was running for chips.

Fraud is far too extreme a word to use for these players. They're good b-ball players, by any measure. They're playing at the highest level of the game. They are valuable to the franchises who employ them. They draw fans. They just aren't the best. They don't have a higher gear for the uber-competitive playoffs, or they're injury-prone. When other teams ramp up the effort, they can't quite keep up. 30 teams. 1 champion. All others are also-rans. It's a tough league. Any of these guys would run any of their critics off the court. They aren't scrubs. But they aren't champions, either. Except for Leonard. He has stepped into the winner's circle. Once.

He must have nightmares featuring Jalen Brunson.🙃 Elite scorer but doesn't really make anyone around him better.

    1. I can’t figure out how James Harden is not included on this list. He had two good games against the Celtics, but two good games doesn’t get you a good series. 2. The fact that Klay is not on this list is absurd. He went from one of the greatest shooters of all time in the regular season, to a second string shooting guard on the charlotte bobcats. 3. Trae is not a fraud. He was going against the Celtics, and he didn’t really have much help. He wasn’t amazing, but he definitely doesn’t qualify as a fraud. 4. In the regular season, no one has time to prepare for Embiid -- and he can dominate an unfocused defense. In the playoffs, teams design defenses to stop him -- mainly timely double-teams that force him to make decisions. He gets frustrated, he makes bad decisions, he can't adjust, and he underperforms. (Maybe Nick Nurse will help.) Jokic is the exact opposite -- because of his passing skills, court vision, and ability to dissect the defense like a coach on the floor. He adjusts to the defense and attacks the weak points, whether it is single coverage or double, zone or man to man. Spoelstra, one of the best coaches in the league, can attest to this. 😂

Half of these guys are not considered superstars imo. The guys that I consider superstars are first options on a championship contender/an mvp talent. Trae young, Donovan Mitchel, Julius Randle and KAT are not that. Also, you forgot James Harden

I thought you gonna add Chris Paul.. but I'm NOT sure either. And Ben Simmons is in a different category on his own. So how about • James Harden • Anthony Davis (same reason why Kawhi is there) • John Collins • DeAndre Ayton • John Wall (maybe not, bec he's currently out of NBA)

For context, let's not throw the word superstar to some all-stars. Agreed with the Embiid take. I don't consider Randle a Superstar so I can't say he is a fraud. But from the Knick's perspective, maybe he is one. Mitchell is also not a superstar. Not from his days as a Jazz certainly not today with the CAVS. Trae is still an upcoming all-star. Not yet categorized as a superstar. His name is tied to LUKA because of the draft thing hence, I see why you would see him that high. Leonard was a superstar. Maybe, not anymore nowadays because of his injury bug problem. Kat is just never considered a superstar. Every take on his before was for his potential. Nothing to speak of if he even reached the status of superstar even halfway.

Julius Randle isn't a superstar, but he would make the BEST 2nd option and is a solid all-star. In some other interview he said that the jump to being the first option was a bit difficult because of the opposing defense's focus. If that's the case it's not that he's a fraud, it's just that he isn't really a superstar like the likes of Jokic/Lebron/Curry and shouldn't really even be on this list.

You really only looked at offensive stats and compared regular season vs playoffs. Regular season everybody is averaging almost 120 points a game. Playoffs you will get an opponent who qualified for playoffs, yeah. And everyone plays defense in playoffs. And the other teams are working harder to shut down these particular players. And you get several games in a row to scheme against a teams weaknesses and pick apart a scorer. You didn’t talk about defense on these guys and if they were difference makers or weak there. Plus… a lot of dudes hardly ever or never see the playoffs. So they can’t qualify for your list. The list is interesting. I just take issue with calling them frauds on weak comparison. I’m not a massive fan of any of these guys. But it seems disrespectful to call them “frauds” based on this. That’s my take.

1.) i disagree with you on the joel embiid being a fraud. He did pretty solid in the finals including last year as well. His teammates didnt do good, thats why they keep getting eliminated in the 2nd round. 2.) julius randle is not a superstar... he's a star but not a superstar in the nba.

Asking if any of these 6 can win a ring as the best player when Kawhi is already a 2-time champ and finals MVP with different franchises is both stupid and disrespectful. Even with 'load management' injuries can't be avoided and while the other 5 are fair enough what about Harden, CP3 or Westbrook who've never won rings despite many chances on various stacked teams, or can they no longer even be construed as superstars? Anyway, I love your channel and content but the Kawhi take is so ludicrous my final comment is simply SHEEEEESH!
