Interesting, thanks....can you use the fence on the LHS of the blade - when cutting angles, nice to have the blade facing away from the fence )is there a scale on the sliding rail?...thanks

I’m thinking of buy this saw, or the same other saws with different stickers on. I’d really like to know more about the 16amp power feed required. How easy/ difficult is this to have installed etc.

Great video. Can I ask what code your cmt blades are and do you get good results. I have purchased a Cross and rip blade from CMT but I think I could maybe change the rip blade and get a better cut.

Hi, thank you for review. I am in Europe and looking for some decent entry level option and HBM600 (basically the same model) is one of the option for me. Can you please tell me couple of words about how precise this saw. From your first video i understood that there is a difference of 1mm between the ends of wooden bar that you cutted first time. As i understand the fence could be regulated to make it fully parallel to the blade. Did you managed to do so? Thank you.

Hi James, great video review you got there. Would like to know how this table saw is holding up. Does the fence stay square to the blade? I am considering getting this saw. Appreciate your response.

Have you had any issues with the raise lower / angle gear (worm wheel)? We have 12 inch version and we have now gone through a couple of these there doesn’t seem to be true engagement between worm wheel and rod.

Hi Simon, Thanks for the comment I haven’t had any problem with the wheels mine feels like it’s meshing fine although I will give this another check over just to be sure.

Hi buddy! Can you be kind and let us know what blades did you buy, please? Like code, names etc... Thanks

Good blade choice. If you like cmt Chrome, check out the UK made Shark blades professional blades. Loads of carbide on the teeth, super sharp, low friction coatings and only £35 per blade. I rate them over freud or axminster premium blades. My favourites are cmt industrial blades. Better dust collection on that SIP than the rubbish afterthought of my Charnwood w650 dust collection system.

Thanks Paul, still using that same blade I just clean it and baby it as much as I can really glad I went for these! The dust extraction has been excellent I’m now on my 3/4 bag change now

Another very informative video from you. I watched your video following your purchase of this machine and purchased one myself. It arrived after quite a wait due to shortages of woodworking machinery but Scott and Sargeant were good to deal with throughout. I have had some minor problems - bolts vibrating loose mainly but all in all it is a good budget saw. I do have a problem with the philips machine screws securing the insert plate at the moment one of which is so rounded I daren't put it back in. I notice in this review that you have replaced yours - would you kindly tell me what size they are and where did you get them please ??

Hi Nature John, thanks for the comment, not had any loose fasteners on mine (not that I’ve noticed) the countersunk screws I use are m5 x12mm you will need to expand the counter sink a little bigger for the to sit flush or a little below the surface. For the loosening fasteners I’d try some Loctite 638 (retaining compound) ideal for that application. Do you have a solid floor under the saw? I used to have a band saw on a wood shed floor and that had a similar problem. I’d go for steel bolts and not stainless steel ones like what I’ve got (dissimilar metal contact reactions) And apply some copper slip to the threads may help from binding up over time. Plus if they ever do get stuck a stead handy can easily drill out of countersunk steel fastener, a stainless steel one I would struggle to do. Sorry for the essay, hope that helped and thanks again. Thanks a million for your prompt and comprehensive reply. I will be getting some Loctite 638 following your recommendation and also some new bolts for the insert plate. To put you in the picture I am a time-served joiner and have worked as a self-employed builder most of my life. So give me wood, bricks, plasterboard etc. and I am comfortable. Anything to do with metal and I am out of my comfort zone. I am semi- retired now (71 years old ) but I have set up my workshop to make it a paying hobby. I am finding it a steep learning curve. The last thing I have to tackle is the perpetual dust problem - so I have been watching you with the dust extractor that you bought recently. One question - why do the manufacturers make it so difficult with so many different sizes of dust extraction outlets ?? I admire you for your seemingly multiple skills with wood or metal. Anyway, thanks once again for your kind reply, Happy and safe working in whatever medium you choose !!

@@naturejohn8118 no problem! Oh forgot to mention I cut all my fasteners from eBay local suppliers. Thanks again for the kind words! And yes dust extraction is a nightmare. A good fix is using automotive silicone hose reducers. For example my chop saw uses a 38mm to 32mm (I think) and if you search that it will come up with a solution I think mine is from a 1990s Subaru radiator pipe. But works perfect and will last a life time for not a lot of money and far better than branded over expensive woodworking gadgetry! There is a special place in a certain hot place for these people……😁 stay safe 🍻

Two thoughts regarding the blades: 1) You get what you pay for. 2) Buy once, cry once. And sorry, but that bit in the original video of you tipping the table saw up is still hysterically funny.
