Loving the colour and an absolute gem of a car. Been flirting with other brands lately, tried the xdrive M4 competition which was fast but still basically a sedan. You just can’t beat a pure bred sports car for driving feel and enjoyment. M4 felt like a heavyweight boxer trying ballet, powerful but ever so clumsy

yea, so far I really love the Cayman. I always loved Porsche but owning one has made me really appreciate the car that much more. it never fails to put a smile on my face when i drive it. 100/100 would recommend

M4 is not impressive because of the weight. Test drove a new one in 2015 and thought it should be faster with that amount of HP. I almost bought one but decided to save my money for two more years and got a 911 with 10K miles and saved 50K off MSRP and it's worth what I paid for it today. So glad I did.

Great video! I’ve got a 22 cayman s shark blue. My everyday driver, I love the hell out of it. Agree on the cup holder. Terrible placement. Be careful of spills or condensation dripping into switches!

Is it realiable and how's the maintence cost for you, if you had any in this short time span? Im around you age and soon buying a 2.0 718 :) feeling lucky since three years ago i was broke fresh out of highschool driving a golf 4 older than me and i live in a 3rd world country.

If you don’t mind sharing, what’s your monthly payment around for a ‘18 model? I am in love with the blue/navy colorway they release specifically for the 718’s that year

One of the best looking cars on the market at the moment, just depending what climate you live in. For me its the 718 Spyder also manual and ones the top is down its heaven.

@@leonardoluc6362 being that I live in New York, having a soft top car is not usable for like 8-9 months out of the year. I also just prefer them look of hard top cars.

fyi, if you don’t know. there’s 2 storage compartments behind the seats, under the small quarter windows. what Soul exhaust do you have? turbo back? or axle back? sounds great!

I take it to a shop that works on a lot of performance cars, same shop that put my springs and exhaust on

"718" is just marketing. Internal code for the 718 cayman is 982 like you said. I have a boxster and let me tell you its even more fun. I thought about getting a cayman. I drove both a cayman and a boxster and immediately fell in love with the boxster. Also the boxsters cabin is a lot quieter than the cayman since the engine is not "inside the cabin"

I like the boxster as well. Its just preference. I like loud cars so I enjoy the noise paired with the aftermarket exhaust I have on it. Again, all preference... Btw I would really appreciate if you would take the time to check out some of my other videos. :)

@@timelesscollection When I mean quieter cabin I mean there is a lot less wind and engine buzzing noise bleeding from the engine (especially annoying on long highway drives). In the boxster when you put the top down on the back roads you get better exhaust notes than the Cayman ever could just the nature of the beast.

Those wheels are the 19s I think. They’re a normal option for Cayman or Boxster.

Do you do your own oil changes? Lots of good videos on YT on how to do it properly. Kudos to you for getting into Porsche at such a young age!

Mexico looks a lot like NY in February. Great color on a great car. The Cayman’s came into existence with the 987 generation, there were only Boxsters with the 986. You e spoiled yourself so early in life with a great driving car. You’re going to run out of aspirational cars soon at your rate. Good problem to have.

I worked a lot since middle school and basically threw away a lot of my highschool experience to work.. but i have seen friends get cars they absolutely cant afford with interest rates that are through the roof

Why don’t you drive it more? These cars are meant to be DRIVEN.

You need to ask your mum for more driving lessons instead of a blue tool case. Why on earth are you taking both hands off the steering wheel when you change gears! 😳 for the moment you take your hand off the steering wheel you are not in full control of the vehicle, totally amateurish driving
