Love my 2018 Cayman 718. Mine’s a stick but that’s my thing. One option that I have and strongly recommend is the enhanced range fuel tank which was about $150 US. This tank is standard on the S. Fewer trips to the gas station is good!

Love the car, hoping to get one soon. Brilliant review too, thanks. I’ve read all the specs but really enjoyed hearing how you feel about owning this. Nice one.

I bought a Cayman718 S just before lockdown and it’s such a wonderful driving experience! Full navy leather sports pack inside which is superlative to any other car. Rear reversing camera a must and so pleased its there. It’s stunning in Rhodium silver and the red ceramic brake discs look incredible. The way it grips the road especially around roundabouts is a dream. Its a very sexy drive and I’m so pleased I treated myself. It was quite empowering going into Porsche Tonbridge Dealership on my own to buy one. Toby was brilliant. Such excellent customer service. I have no regrets.

Thanks brother. I been on the fence about this but I think I’ll actually get it. I still have around 2 years warranty on my mustang. Once that runs out I’m definitely getting a Porsche 718 cayman. Thanks for sharing

I love it. Purchased the 718 in April 2021 in Agate Gray and I love it after driving it 9 months. I did the built in January and the 3 month wait was worth it. I did not go crazy with options and I think for the ride for the money it one of the best rides available.. Had a 90 minute session at the Porsche Performance in Atlanta in a Cayman 718 GTS4. It was great.

It’s Agate Grey 👌🏻 the wheels tie in nicely with the black exhaust tips and the black painted rear spoiler I think

No regrets, really happy I bought it! I’d say 718 is a more useable daily (better fuel economy) but both would be great

While I enjoyed your video, your enthusiasm for your Porsche Cayman was what I enjoyed even more because that’s the way I feel about the car. I will be getting a Porsche Cayman 718 S a few months from now. The only difference is that I prefer the brighter GT Silver Metallic, which was also the color of my first Porsche.

I agree it’s a better looking car than the Boxster, and for the number of days in the U.K. when its sunny compared to raining, I’d always go with the coupe !

Bought a brandnew 718 S in 2019. Had it 2 months and sold it for a 2014 991.1 GTS. For now I'm glad for this decision

Sahil Multani so servicing isn’t too bad - roughly £650 for a major service (I think). I’m getting roughly 25mpg on my daily commute but I got 37mph on a motorway run recently! I do 12k miles a year and it’s my daily driver so yes, it can definitely be one!

Sahil Multani I think they’re roughly £3-4k with tyres - one like mine can range from £40’s to £50k’s, happy shopping!

I hate the arch but on the cabriolet it looks better. I was thinking of getting a gts for my 18 year old son for his bday

So the car is a bass 718 cayman but it has something called sports chrono which gives you Sport / sport + / individual modes on the steering wheel

Porsche 718 is wayyyy better than the 911. Why? MID ENGINE. Did you get the sport exhaust? Can you fit golf clubs in this (not in the passenger seat)?

@@LifeInMotionuk Yeah the new ftype tech is on par and the exterior is better on the ftype imo ...The driving experience is comparable ...Steering maybe better on the 718 but the exhaust noise and hp r in ftype favor along with a quieter interior relative to road noise imo

50 dislikes from "Porsche" Purist people who can't even afford a used entry level. No poor's man Porsche, It's a Porsche still and I love the way it drives.I honestly love the Boxster more than I do the Cabriolet. that 718 is an amazing step up from the 981 in torque

Welcome to Porsche ownership. My Boxster GTS was a revelation when i got it five years ago and still have it. Take it to proper roads (Wales) and use it for what it is designed for. The servicing can be spicy however as the services are spaced at 20k intervals so overall fairly reasonable. They are much more practical than first perceived. Things to be wary of: maintaining a main dealer Porsche history makes life easier if selling, fit proper quality Porsche n rated tyres and get PPF applied to the areas which stonechip. Windscreens take a bashing but otherwise these cars are very robust. These cars are designed for driving but be wary that most are garage queens and mileage will hit resale as many are simply used for trips to the pub. I say stuff it and use it and let someone else deal with the wear and tear in a few years time.

Wow thank you! Agreed, already have trips plan for Scotland and France - I agree, I’m going to get a lot of miles on the clock and let Porsche worry about it, hopefully will change to a 911 in a few years

Unfortunately due to speed limit in the UK you will not have a proper experience of understanding Porsche! :D please KEEP CALM AND STICK TO YOUR LAND ROVER

In India the price of this car is 120000 dollar .

Mine wasn’t worth the money. New cayman s with ice forming on the inside of the rear lights. Porsche trying to tell me that it’s perfectly normal.
