As a technician, I cringe thinking of people repeatedly hitting that electrical conduit with a med ball. Besides that I love these drills and I'll be sure to incorporate them weekly.
This information worth gold. I really appreciate your video. Thank you.
Great motion specific exercises, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Looking good with that DaruStrong Tshirt

Great 👍 training tips! I’ve recorded your video’s to all my training parents at my MMA academy 👊🏼
Great stuff
These are amazing . I have put some ideas these in my workout. Seriously the best core workout for me. I only have a 20 #med ball so I have been using it. Love it . Thanks for the help.
Great content, very nice.
First medicine ball kzread.infoUgkxsg8rI-i6ePWRkhrp_UHScmUIKozMa9uU that I have ever owned. So far so good, it's very easy to hold on to with workouts I do with it, although I do wish though I would have ordered a heavier one, the ones at the gym I used to go to must have been overweight because this one felt pretty light compared to those that said they were also 8 pounds. Great product though, I love it and plan on keeping it for a while at least until I need a bigger one
Thanks Phil for the great stuff 🙏 ☝️ 💪 🥊 💥 🧨 🔥
A great set of movements to add to the weekend training

How do you determine the appropriate medicine ball weights to use?
Phil, with the med ball rotation throw, do you want a slight pause at 12 o'clock through the arc? - Phillip Paul, ATC.
Daru do you think doing low resistance "power" exercises aka ballistics like medball thows provide any value for improvements in explosive strength (such as RFD) as well as power ? Or are they best used for putting your increased RFD and power (from loaded dynamic effort resistance strength training) to use in a more "real life" motor pattern so that one understands how to transfer the power into a life (sport) specific skill ?
Hey Phil do you know what brand that is for the ball!
💥🎯
Phil what brand and type of ball do you use in video.
Question regarding Unilateral throw (3:53): why is it better to not let the hips and shoulders rotate past neutral as you throw?
ball weight for 1 hand? and for 2 hands?
Can you build a little muscle with slamballs?
Hello How much of ko power do you think is genetics????
Is there benefit for using smaller but same weight med ball ?
What brand med ball do you use ?
Make an video on plyometrics moment

Can I do every exercises in the same session? How many rounds and repeat?
Awesome. Osu
Odd question Phil, what shoes are you wearing? Great routine by the way.
how many sets and reps?
What should be weight of ball
What if it’s 3kg and you still go all out force? It’s lightweight but what matters isn’t the force you drive through?
Phil the goat💯 Question though, you said males should use 10-12 lbs, if I only have a 20lb one can I keep using that or is it going to end up being counter productive?
@KremeOnHer

The point is to be as fast and explosive as possible with 20 pounds it may be hard for you to get that explosive nesss
Med ball exercise are better than use a landmine for increase power of pounches?
👍👍👏👏
Perfect for upper body dynamic effort. Should the variations be chosen by specificity or simply use all variations at different times to avoid accommodation? Thank you for info, Phil.

Hi Phil, newbie question here - is it ok if your throwing arm elbow locks out? Is that ok on the elbow joint or harmful? Thank you
@Johnwickpifpaf

Keep your elbow up when you lock out.
I use a 4lb ball for speed power and distance.. a 10lb for all types of slams. And a tire for power and strength I do overhead throws slams and one arm rotational throws with a spin start like discuss.. I switch up here and there but I’ve been focusing on using the 4lber for the speed and progress comes faster I don’t do the shot put anymore because it bent my hand back badly and feels awkward I don’t think it’s necessary as long as you have punching technique all the other exercises are good enough

Why use smaller 4 pounds though ?

Why does this belief still exist? Sure some people are natural born power punchers but it can absolutely be trained.
