Sooo. You can make a clothing washer for less then that and it can take more clothes at once. Just buy 1 plunger and 1 5 gal bucket. Put a hole in the top of the lid and use the plunger to smash/mix the clothes around

I like the Drumi device. It could be useful in a small truly off grid system. If your water is on grid though then it doesn't make sense to me because it would use twice as much water for a load than my current washing machine. Many companies have in the past come out with various technologies that turn your mobile phone into a walkie talkie and none of them succeeded in their quest of gaining mass adoption. GoTenna have a good product but it is expensive and solves a problem that no longer exists with the cheap radios we are now able to get and also the fact that Satellite phones will soon drastically reduce in price due to things like Starlink. The Tesla phone will likely be able to use Starlink and none of them will need a sim card to work. That means you will be able to communicate with anyone on and off planet no matter where they are. You will not have ridiculously expensive fees for making calls abroad as it will effectively make everything a local call, text or data charge.

I wish we were given prices for those.

Whats wrong with a rock and a stream??

Most of these are cool for off grid camping or traveling but not so much for off grid living.
