I live Off Grid and wish I had almost all of those products. We are selling out Homestead here in Colorado and moving back to Kansas and I bet I will end up buying all of these items in a very short time.

I’m a scout who goes camping/hammocking every weekend. I have the pro version of the LuminAid lantern and have used it for the past two years. It’s great: drop proof and waterproof and can charge devices and charge itself! The ultimate piece of kit that always impresses my friends, I would recommend to anyone that goes outdoors regularly, although it is a bit pricey for a lantern. Older version available on eBay, they served me well and it’s cheaper, but not as robust

I own one of those lanterns, and it truly does everything the company claims. It's an amazing backpacking lantern, and emergency lantern, and I love that it fits in my glove box when flattened.

And increase your food bill... :) Gadget 1 "produces 3 Amps at 14 Volts - by peddle power... 3A x 14 v = 42 Watts, if you peddle for 1 hour you get 42 Watt-Hours - that means after an hour of peddling you can run a 100W light bulb (or device) for about 25 minutes...

@@tedc4982 which is not bad it is the only way to charge it. But getting a bit of excise and charging a power bank is the key. But actually taking the time to do the math is pretty cool of you. I am more interested as the gimmick as a cool conversation toy. But as someone who spent over a month without power it does show some use. I see it as a way to get people to excise to enjoy their devices an incentive. But yes it is mainly a toy not something that you use really much. But I still think it is something useful in certain times.

We could have California's Forestry departments use the gasifier to solve both their energy and wildfire issues use those to charge batteries to attach into smaller grid sections to reduce the chances for brownouts.

The reflectors help you count the calories your burning trying to recharge your phone... lol Gadget 1 "produces 3 Amps at 14 Volts - by peddle power... 3A x 14 v = 42 Watts, if you peddle for 1 hour you get 42 Watt-Hours - that means after an hour of peddling you can run a 100W light bulb (or device) for about 25 minutes. That's a lot of peddling to check your email. :)

Been off grid for three years I have none of these products but I sure would like to have a couple of them LOL

Bending over can cause strain on the back, lead to injuries and even lead to having stronger back muscles and greater mobility. That's why you need a patented hook to prevent this.

Those lanterns are nice but after a few years the plastic outer part cracks and dries out and then it is just the top solar part with the lights. That being said I love that they have the white cover making the light more ambient and not in your eyes kind of light so there the best in that category because every other type I have shine and go right to the eye witch I hate and because the lantern is inside and facing down the light is awesome and they are very bright. Great for emergencies like power outages or camping I like to stock emergency lighting so that when our electric goes out my house looks like we have power still lol I have a problem lol. But I like to be prepaid. My neighbors walked over and thought we had electricity because my living room was nice and lit up. I have lamps that are battery and a bunch or rechargeable also power banks to recharge our phones came in very handy. I even used my truck to plug something in that we needed to make something one time ok off topic now but really love the lanterns due to the awesome lighting but hate that they break down over time but you still have the top solar light piece so if your handy u could just put it into something else maybe a milk jug 😉

K-TOR generators are *great* for standard preparedness, but if you if you're ever in a *prolonged* long-term 3rd world or off-grid situation, I'm talking months or years, then it will become more of a novelty than anything else. In those situations, long-term food security is paramount, and it's not efficient to burn a bunch of calories just to acquire more calories, unless those calories are going into proper farming/harvesting techniques, rather than relatively small amounts of electricity. It's like being an Uber and driving a gas guzzling truck. Yeah, you can use it to make 600 bucks this month to pay the mortgage/rent. But then the next month, you realize your jerry cans are empty and you need to spend $300 in fuel and another $300 in maintenance. *and* pay the mortgage/rent. Better to uber for just the one day you needed 30 bucks but had extra gas.

LOL. And how many watts do you burn, pedaling the first one? #2 as well FFS. Gasification. I'm done. You can run any car, on wood gas, if the vehicle has a carb.

Aside from the products that burn wood, the video is great. Sad there’s a company building on technology that’s 75 years old. That’s why we’re so far behind on tech advancements on our planet.

@@magamike1800 yes way better then oil and I'm not being sarcastic... it purifies the air as it grows you dont have to dig up miles of earth to get it The only downside is we can't grow it faster then we use it... I have seen gasifiers you can run gas engines off

@@lesstevens2370 i have production forestry with a 30 year cycle. people dont understand that the trees have to be cut down to let the next lot to start growing to suck up the carbon. that gasifyer is amazing. i still prefer solar for my offgrid setup.

I have been on and off the grid numerous times over the past several years, and there have been a large number of times I could've used just 20Wh so I could squeeze a few more hours from a phone or light. A phone operates at around 5Wh when on standby and around 15-20Wh in use. A Nintendo Switch running a graphics-intensive game maxes out around 33Wh. A modern LED uses 12Wh. Even one of my more modern business laptops uses only 10Wh on standby and 30Wh in normal use, maxing out at 60Wh if I am playing a video game. 42Wh is pretty good in all of those cases.

Dude..., if you got all that electronics with you and you didn't arrange to have solar, a generator or some other practical source of RELIABLE juice... you probably are rubbing two sticks together to light your propane stove too! lol

Send ukrain this generator.just need gcse physivcs to ake generator a magnet some wires etc. Flemings left hand rule right hand rule etc.can burn dry pooh in it and activated charcoal can be made from. It for filtering water only requires soaking charcoal l in water.only if prope not fit increase strength of pelvic floor muscles.it isnt just back muscles one uses its stomach same as in hand stands its not just arms back its stomach too.

i like the products, but they hardly mention how reciclable they are ....

What does that have to to do with functionality. You don't typically buy a car thinking "how recyclable is this" . As a side note, I have scrapped 4 old parts trucks last week (after I pulled the parts I wanted to keep)
