All the S63s sound like that. If you want a BMW TT V8 that actually sounds like a V8 skip the M cars and go to the 50i.

Flathead engines. Dry sump. Lower capacity than a push rod OHV. They can be mounted lower and rev faster and higher than an OHV. Euro cars mainly

It’s in the header design. The s63 header is one whole unit designed for exhaust to cross path. In exchange it makes it sound like boo boo vs the N63 which has two separate manifolds which makes it sound more “V8” sounding.

uh it says 570 HP but the 2024 BMW X5 M competition has 617 HP btw/fyi and but the 2015 BMW X5 M has 567 HP so i guess that might be a goof/ a goofed typing error

Really man? The S54 from the e46 m3, the S65 NA V8 from the e90/92 m3, or the S85 V10, or even the modern B58? All of these are better sounding engines.
