-53C/-63F EXTREMELY COLD TOUR AROUND YAKUTSK - The Coldest town in the world
This video was probably one of the most difficult among all of my videos because my hands started to freeze while I was shooting it, and camera worked very badly.. but I wanted to show how my city looked like during the coldest days.
Short but cold tour around Yakutsk - the coldest town in the world

People who live in tropical climates cannot imagine what it’s like. When it’s super cold, you will feel pain on your skin like needles pushing into your skin. That’s why it’s important to cover most of your face and never take off your gloves
@juliap.5375

Needles in skin is okey (more scary when you not feel needles, it means your body got frozen). More complicated to breath, especially when it is windy and you just can’t to breath from pain. Or when windy with snow, thousands of tiny ice peaces which attack your eyes so you walk with almost closed eyes.
Love you to from Turkey♡

Hi Maria .... I used to work for the USPS, and where I was stationed -- it plummets down to negative -10 degrees F, during the winters. After watching this video, I absolutely salute your city's outdoor civil and utility-service workers.

-63F. I cant imagine how dangerous that is. The lowest ive ever been in was -44F and I cant remember how long ago it was. I already freeze to death here when it gets below +60F here in California.
I'm just amazed at how normal city life is in such cold. Where I live, cars stopped working and water pipes froze when we got below 0°F, and we are used to winter being below freezing

Greetings from Colorado, I started watching your videos about 5 or 6 days ago and REALLY enjoyed them, you are so GENUINE. I love to follow on Google Earth and locate things that I see in videos, it makes it much more "real" for me. In this video I found everything except the intersection that had the "ice bull" and the "very round" statue. Walking around in minus 63 F is hard for me to imagine, thanks for sharing that with us. My Best Wishes and thanks to your family for sharing part of their lives in these beautiful videos.

Yakutia can be coldest place in the world but Yakut Turks have enough warm heart to live there ♥️ 🙏🌎
It’s quite fascinating how people can live and function in such a cold place and make life go around even on such cold days. I personally wouldn’t be able to handle such cold, the coldest weather I’ve experienced is about -25C here in my hometown in Sweden. The climate in my town can be a mix of inland and coastal though as I’m about an hour inland from the coast, so my town can get cold but in a humid way so it can feel a lot colder than it actually is at times. Just cold without the added humidity or wind is easier to manage... But I still hate anything colder than +25C lol Also, Texas should take note... If Russia can have a functioning society in such extreme conditions, surely Texas should be able to at least be somewhat prepared for a bit of winter weather... Not making fun of them because it is tragic how people suffered over there, but still, the state should take note and demand the companies to have better preparations for cold weather... This February storm and polar vortex that they got hit with wasn’t their first, nor will it be their last...
