What Nick has that other reviewers often lack: - Effortless video skills. We always see exactly what Nick's showing us, the camera doesn't shake about or have a weird field of view, even when climbing & descending stairs and ladders. That's not easy! But Nick makes it look easy. - Knowledge! The amount of time Nick hasn't been 100% sure about something on a boat is rare enough to count on the fingers of one hand. This means a very confident commentary without "um"s and "er"s which other reviewers suffer from. This greatly increases our trust in his reviews.

Way back in the late 80s, I was co driver to Shurook Ardeshir on a race boat called Blu Finale, she was a one off built by the legendary Ron Wobold. In 1989 we held the S 2,000cc Class water speed record at 81.40 MPH or 70.7 knots. In those days, there was no such thing as cushioned seats and every wave was like bouncing of concrete, watching this video brought back a few good memories. Thanks Nick.

You are a proper gent and I greatly enjoy your videos. Its like window shopping with a good friend that knows about boats/ships.

That forward storage locker would be great for drugs or bodies to be dumped at sea. The secondary storage locker can store machine guns and ammo. It should be used in the next James Bond movie.

I see you measure space like me. I think the forward storage locker can fit two to three bodies easly and the toilet can fit a lot of bags of coke. Boat can stay ahead of the coast guard with it's incredible speed

It must be a great boat. It put a big smile on his face. Enough it made me smile.

I got supremely jealous watching this. It looked like a great time putting that boat through its paces.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE that you add the price to the title. Lovely video as usual!

Fastest I ever went in a boat was 42 knots in my last boat (a Skibsplast 675 HT). This thing is almost twice the length and 50% faster! What a ride!

I'm a sailor and I still consume your motorboat reviews as soon as they come up. Keep up the excellent work!

I worked in a team that built a few of the xs2000's way back in the early 2000's never got the chance to experience a go in one although I believe sunseeker did offer to take us out. It was very similar to this boat in fact I believe that deck mold for this boat could be modified from the original we used. The hull spec was bullet proof multi layers of Kevlar , what a fantastic machine on the water so stable at speed that looked awesome 👌

Wow that is an amazing thrill seeker Nick but at well over half a million you could almost get a couple Jeanneau Leader 33's although at nearly 50 Knots I guess the Leader would be a sinker. Sunseeker designers must have loved that commission, lucky people. A fabulous piece of design and addition to their repertoire.

Certainly went very fast when coming into Lymington River yesterday afternoon. Speed limit is 6 knots by the way.

Watching this a year after the vid came out. Wondering at the start why I recognise the marina and the boat it's self, and I realise that my family's boat was almost opposite and I used to see it a lot

Errr ahaa where is the salon, galley, master bedroom with ensuite, guest suites, crew quarters, twin 2000hp diesels... ha ha. Unique design and quality. Very nice and fast.

Was that a boat or a cruise missile? Hard to tell the difference for a moment there :)

Hells teeth that is an incredible machine and you can tell that you enjoyed every single minute of that experience. Exhilarating and fun for the first hour but you end up a broken man after the second. I have experienced traveling at speed in a boat of this type and the novelty soon wares off and you end up traveling at 20/30 Knots to get some piece. But hey-ho it has great design and looks beautiful but at over half a million you can get a Fairline Targa 45 Open or GT for similar money and sleep 6, has a comfortable ride, relaxing and you stay dry. Fairline’s F Line 33 is not as beautiful or exhilarating, but has a fair turn of speed, is comfortable, less than half the price and is worth considering. Thanks, Nick, for a great review, the ride must have been so enjoyable.

To get it into a road car perspective the max speed indicated there was 60.8 knots which converts to 70 miles per hour. Imagine that overtaking you on a canal alongside a motorway.
