Ойын-сауық

    This boat seems like there aren't very many compromises at all, looks like it lacks nothing. Fantastic. Loved the aft section on the sundeck, really great showcase of the use of space that typically seems like an after thought. Fairline wasn't really on my radar until I started watching your videos, they are now in a big way. Thanks!

    Nick, this is the one. What a fab boat, it has style, size, features and class and seems to roll up into a really manageable package. Not to big to handle on your own but big enough to enjoy with friends and family. Now I just have to figure out a way to pay for it. Lottery tickets in hand and you can be the guest of honor for the first weekend aboard. 😀 well done Fairline. Amazing.

    That crew cabin actually looked comfortable for a change, and the same high gloss wood finish as the rest of the boat was used for the accents in there as well, which was an unexpected touch; even the heads compartment retained the same quality stainless steel fixtures as the owner accommodations. A boat builder that actually puts some thought into crew spaces speaks loudly for the company culture IMO. And another random thought: I really, really liked the choice of club seating and the glass paneling for an unobstructed view on the aft portion of the flybridge, almost like a terrace balcony, wonderful. There's already plenty of sunbeds on the bow as it is, so sunbathers can get their fill regardless. Fairline is giving Princess a run for their money with this one, I think.

    Beautifully finished boat. The fold out 'beach club' sofa is great for drying off...and for crew to chill out at anchor. The protected staircase to the flybridge is great.

    Yet another great tour Nick, I'll never tire of watching these, I find myself now planning an uninterrupted 20 minute watching slot and even putting them before any new wristwatch videos, unheard of!! These boats really are fabulous, hats off to the designers to fit so much accommodation in, surprised by the very usable crew/additional guest cabin on this one too. Nice to see your subscriber numbers rapidly growing, word's getting round!! I think the National Lottery must owe you a big thank you too for all their extra ticket sales! 👍

    Another great tour! (It´s becoming quite a nice habbit! :D ). I think this just became my favourite boat in this segment! Very nice use of space and absolutely lovely styling both inside and out. I especially like the wood-inserts in the salon roof. They break up what would otherwise have been a very large, boring white surface. The helm-stations also look top-of-the-line. Often, visibility from the lower helm is more than a bit compromised by the exterior styling with either too narrow windows so you loose sight-line to the horizon in anything but calm conditions, or too wide mullions stealing enough visibility to hide a small aircraft carrier at short range. Absolutely none of that nonsense on this boat! :)

  • @visionist7

    @visionist7

    I always wondered why interior helm windscreens are usually so narrow in height. Maybe it's a weight issue

  • @Kennethah81

    @Kennethah81

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@visionist7 my guess is design. Keeping the boat looking good. When the helm seat often is ser quite far back from the windscreen, the effective vertical field of view becomes dangerously narrow. The same goes for the side-windows on the opposite side of the helm, the distance between the helm and the window makes the window effectively narrower. One of my biggest annoyances is that many (particularly smaller boats (30-35-foot range) seems to be made for quite small captains. Several boats Ive looked at at boat shows have the top of the side window so low that if I turn my head to the right, Im staring into the hard-top side above the window rather than trough the window itself. How it can be possible to produce and sell a boat that can do 30+ knots without good visibility from the helm is beyond me...

    Awesome boat with a great use of space for a 68 footer. I'm not a fan of the rear sloping helm window, but I see why they do that here for the overall aesthetics of the design. A sun shade on the outside would probably help with some of the inherent problems with that design, without being detrimental to the overall look of the boat. Another fine boat tour. :)

    Nice change from the old Fairline models. There are couple of little things that would annoy me though such as the backrest on the "beach club" bench seat doesn't look like it sits far enough out from the bodywork above it so you don't hit your back on it when leaning back. Overall though, nice decor and finished inside.

The rear flybridge seating are is a real winner for me, you can watch what is going on down at the beach club but just far enough away to be avoiding any hijinx antics. The finish did look very good and rather beautiful imo. I take it that a tender would go on the hi-lo platform? Another great boat and an excellent your of it as well. Thank you for sharing.

    The finish and use of space is really high end, class stuff! I just saw your interview with James from Tristan's SYC's channel which I also follow. My ears pricked up when I heard you refer to an upcoming 60M M/Y tour you have in the editing suite ;) Thats big news and a big yacht, cant wait.

    beautiful interior and such a well thought out design too. I still think I prefer Princess. Great walk through as usual Nick. Not a bad price compared to a smaller Princess

    I really was looking forward seeing this boat and your video! Thank you Nick, and thank you Fairline! It is a really stunning boat. Though, there are some things I don't like and don't understand, why Fairline did them that way. There still isn't a side access door to the helm - very useful on that size of boats. There is no tender garage. And the sliding window between cockpit and galley doesn't disappear completely... But beside of that, it is a cool designed boat and definitely one of my favourites

    you don't tend to get tender garages on full flybridge yachts of this size. You'll see them on sportsyachts like the Fairline Targas, and on 'hybrid' designs where sportsyachts have been given a very small flybridge, like the S series Princess yachts, but not on full flybridge yachts because they major on accommodation.

    Galley aft for the win again! People spend their time in the Med on deck and out the back, but want the sleeping volume downstairs. Best layout all round in a size that could be owner operated. Now... all I need is a medium lottery win!

    Awesome boat! Although I’d like a separate shower in the crew quarters, then it would be the perfect boat!

    really enjoy this videos and particularly the ' midsize' yachts that are perfect for family use. would prefer a decent size boat that wouldn't require a crew / captain. off now to the lotto website.
