That is without doubt the best 'Meet the Owner' so far. The production was top notch, the done footage, the name lit up in the evening sunset, all the old pics for reference and John's own pics of how he step by step made the upgrades are fantastic.

Yes the best one I have seen so far. Excellent boat and an honest hard working owner happy with his choice and happy to get his hands dirty.

Loving John's mods, subtle enough to blend in but bold enough to make a huge difference. Superb!

This is not my kind of boat but I really like the way Mr Williams explained why it is he's kind of boat. Fascinating explanation and a very charming and open gentleman explaining his choices to us. Thank you to Mr Williams and of course yourself for showing us this. Paul

Lovely boat and equally nice owner him and his pal where moored up next to me last year in poole quay. I snapped my water pump belt on Saturday night and had a trip planned sunday morning john kindly let us have and fitted his spare one . ..cheers mate !)

I so love and appreciate these owner tours/videos! Clever guy, especially designing and building his own helm seats. Great boat that looks mint! I know it’s been maintained well and very well looked after but it’s been finished brilliantly to a very tasteful, high standard.

This Lady of the Sea has got legs she can move. She had some new makeup that brought her up to date and looks as good as her younger sister boats. John William has really worked hard making items for the boat and making people comfortable. Love this boat.

This is a great video. I was looking at getting an Apache but after having John very kindly showed us round his Superhawk has changed my mind on the Apache. The modifications you’ve made are brilliant. Loved listening you about your boat John. The seats, dashboard, the engine bay, lights for the boat name, loved everything about it.

I love how sometimes when you give someone a gift, it can lead to a long story about taking up a hobby because of it. Someone gave me baseball cards as a gift and then I became crazy about it and while I eventually sold them (2020 was crazy had to do it) it was one of the happiest things of my life. Anyway sorry to go on a tangent but it was really amazing how just a new steering wheel caused this guy to remodel his entire helm!

One of my favourite meet the owners as when asked about ‘what next’, without a second thought he said nothing, ‘this is it’. Be a great chap to have a corona with !

Enjoyable 30 minute watch, down to earth owner with a passion for his boat.

Nick: these are your best vlogs. I loved meeting John. I am a hands on guy but holy shit: he ripped up his helm seats, fashioned new wood frames, and had an upholsterer build those amazing sport seats. I also think we totally skimmed over him pulling both engines, disassembling them and de-rusting and painting them. Wow. I wonder - did he fix the design flaw whereby water came in the air intake? Thanks to you both.

Thanks Brian. The air intakes were modified to stop the excess moisture / spray entering the bilge. When the engines were out I fitted a small automatic bilge pump on a removable bracket for maintenance. Now any water in the bilge is removed almost immediately.

Cant believe i haven't watched this video before! What a lovely example of a superhawk 40.... Ive sold loads of Superhawk's over the years and this has to be one of the nicest and most sympathetically enhanced examples I've seen. What a lovely boat.... A true credit to the owner!

I really enjoy watching these 'Meet The Owner' videos as it shows what can be done to the boat rather than just keeping it stock and then changing it when the fancy takes you (if you can afford to that is). Thank you for this insight Nick and thank you John for showing us around your wonderful boat that still looks brand new she is a credit to you and your wife.

Another great meet the owner, This owner loves his boat and treats it with pride, Love what he done with seats and spraying the top black. Who cares what the boat is worth its the mans pride and joy and good on him.

Another great episode. What a nice bloke too. I love it that he looks after his boat very well and he improved it very tastefully over the years. Very enjoyable, informative and inspiring!

What a great video Nick introducing the owner of the boat along with a tour. John is clearly a dedicated hands on owner, enthusiast and user just like you and shows how much pleasure, fun and relaxation you can get from 'messing around on a boat'. How amazing is John's Sunseeker although 15 years or so old it is like new mainly through John's hard work and desire. The work that he has carried out on the seats, the helm position and other modifications is brilliant, well thought out and to the highest standard. Thank you, John and Nick for a fabulous experience and may there be many more Meet the Owner videos.

What a fantastic video! The boat is a credit to the owner and the owner a credit to the boat 👍 Easy to see why people love them. I have a black banded hull on my Monterey 270 cr and will definitely be looking at wrapping the arch in black, very nice touch. Thank you.

What an excellent meet the owner, what a genuine guy, as someone who is looking at getting an older sunseeker for my first proper boat, its sort of given me more of a clue as to what to be looking out for too.. As never really understood the fast and furious looking superhawks compared to the Martinique etc. When you listen to him he helps guide you through what the considerations are and what you give up in terms of fun vs accommodation. Great video, great interview, also a solid reminder that anything with an engine on a mobile salt track needs a hobbiest or a shed load of extra cash to pay someone else to maintain it.

This boat is just awesome. We have a Searay290 with fly but it’s a family boat that is there to please everyone, however this is definitely my dream boat! Absolutely stunning! So classy!

I really like John’s attitude, some very good professional modifications with good reasons for making them. I especially like the tensioner replacements, what a great idea. Boat looks fantastic

A really cracking boat and I have great respect for the owners choice of upgrades and the standard of which he keeps it. That engine hatch was super quick, always surprises me how slow they usually are to an area you sometimes need to access in a hurry!

Nick, another great video, and hugely enjoyable getting the insights into different owners - what a great chap too!!!!

I appreciate and enjoy classics, cars, yachts, etc. however there's always a special place in the world for people that can take something great, make it even better without going overboard, and being able to do so in manner unrecognisable except by an astute expert. John is so well grounded and sets a high standard for the stereotypical lore of boaters being socially gifted. And what an absolutely beautiful boat, to me this is one the best (comfortable, fun, practical, speed) boats I've seen on this channel, so much so I can't imagine seeing anything any better so I am gong to stop watching now. 🤣😉

I put off watching this one for a while - but it was fascinating. What a great owner to meet - one who has gently upgraded from factory in such a stylish way. Original Sunseeker crockery, 15 years and not one breakage. Nick reaches forward to rattle plate. :o
