If its who I'm thinking of hes done a ton for the d series community. D-serier.org has so much good info for patient people. Can slap together a reliable setup for a few grand.
Ya'll can hate all you want. Dude built this with his spare change and just gapped a Trackhawk. Literally no room for disrespect, absolutely none.

I wouldnt nessesarily say "good", but with a built bottom end and a turbo they can make decent power. Definitely not the greatest flowing engines n/a but for their size they are middle of the road. Definitely ahead of their time compared to domestic 4 cyls of the same era

@@oneday3857 not one like in this video, you can definitely drive daily a turbo d15 tho. If you don't wanna have issues you just gotta buy good quality parts and do all the proper supporting stuff and and make sure nothing on your car is already on the way out. Once its all done properly you can daily em fairly easily under 200whp. If you have an LSD maybe 300+whp. Wheelspin gets pretty bad past that, gets hard to put your foot down properly without just burning rubber everywhere. It does depend on the driver for sure, I personally don't enjoy driving a super modded car as a daily, but some people have no issues.
This is one of the best budget setups period! It don’t matter if it’s euro,Jap or muscle. One of the easiest ways to make 500 reliably. My buddy had a sleeved single cam del sol making 650-700 wheel. That build wasn’t at budget friendly since it was basically show car ready from the exterior and engine bay.

This guy gave every single jingle owner a smile. That thing moves out and you can tell he loves that car. 71 people dislike this video because they probably got gapped by a Honda with a motor a quarter of the size of theirs 🤣

Power steering, ac, and a warranty... Massaging seats and heated seats, it drives like a normal car, you don't look like a wanker. The trackhawk can still take a trail if you get different tires. You can put your kids and their friends, and all their hockey gear in the trackhawk and only narrowly lose to a purpose build stripped out racecar. Probably with the kids in the car.
This guy seems cool as breeze. Nice sophisticated breakdown. Recently acquired ej6. Smiles everyday.

Awesome car and video . Gives me more motivation to finish my D16 turbo 97 hatch
That D Series is a beast 🤝
I built a d16zc dohc for my 91 civic wagovan. Haven't had any further plans for power until I see these sohc cars going all balls like this guy. Looking at ebay set up as I watch the footage
Wow surprised to see d-serious! Been subscribed for awhile. Great build! I can definitely agree with the civic hatch as one of the best cars to drive. I own a EK9 hatch (stock for now) but i also own an E90 BMW and a stockish MK5 GTI. Those cars just don't put a smile on my face like my EK9. What d-serious said is true! U will just have to drive a 5 speed eg or ek civic, its just something about the car that just can't be explained.
*_Its crazy to see how much people don't know how fast you can make these with such little money. This is a damn budget build pushing over 400hp…_* that's more than enough to take a hellcat to gapplebees
I’ve seen a interview of the dude with the civic awhile back and since then i was hooked. I wanna build one so damn bad

The sound alone is intoxicating.
Some of these people build racecars so casually. I wish I had the knowledge and dedication.
Lol the civic at the end popping in and out of view reminds me of a little kid jumping up and down in front of a tv trying to get his brother's attention as he plays video games! "Hey John.....you said.....you were gonna....play with me.....today!"
The civic at the end freight trains like crazy
im most impressed by the working speedo, honda bois will know what i mean xD
damn, that single jingle keeping up with the RB was so inspirational. makes me wish i didnt just sell my 93 coupe. but i was in a rough spot and it was also pretty rusted out so the body was beyond repair. still though, theres just something about the 90's honda's that always has me going back to them, theyre such fun cars and the D series is a bulletproof motor that loves to be used to its full potential.
Honda motors is life. I mean come on look at this budget beast
Much respect to this guy i love that he kept hos first car i did too!
