I wouldnt nessesarily say "good", but with a built bottom end and a turbo they can make decent power. Definitely not the greatest flowing engines n/a but for their size they are middle of the road. Definitely ahead of their time compared to domestic 4 cyls of the same era

@@oneday3857 not one like in this video, you can definitely drive daily a turbo d15 tho. If you don't wanna have issues you just gotta buy good quality parts and do all the proper supporting stuff and and make sure nothing on your car is already on the way out. Once its all done properly you can daily em fairly easily under 200whp. If you have an LSD maybe 300+whp. Wheelspin gets pretty bad past that, gets hard to put your foot down properly without just burning rubber everywhere. It does depend on the driver for sure, I personally don't enjoy driving a super modded car as a daily, but some people have no issues.

This is one of the best budget setups period! It don’t matter if it’s euro,Jap or muscle. One of the easiest ways to make 500 reliably. My buddy had a sleeved single cam del sol making 650-700 wheel. That build wasn’t at budget friendly since it was basically show car ready from the exterior and engine bay.

Power steering, ac, and a warranty... Massaging seats and heated seats, it drives like a normal car, you don't look like a wanker. The trackhawk can still take a trail if you get different tires. You can put your kids and their friends, and all their hockey gear in the trackhawk and only narrowly lose to a purpose build stripped out racecar. Probably with the kids in the car.

I own a EK9 hatch (stock for now) but i also own an E90 BMW and a stockish MK5 GTI. Those cars just don't put a smile on my face like my EK9. What d-serious said is true! U will just have to drive a 5 speed eg or ek civic, its just something about the car that just can't be explained.

Seriously that mechanical feel and the lightness make them so much fun to drive. Even a junkyard turbo kit on a d is awesome no need to spend 10k to have a fast car.
