RestoModding is a thing. I wish there was a way to cheaply replicate stuff like car chassis and body panels. 3D scanning and printing might come to the rescue at some point in the future.

I personally am generally not a fan of restomods. I love original classics And as an owner of a Volvo P1800ES should I hate this car, but it is just too cool and they went to such great lengths to make it authentic which makes this car into the only restomod I actually really like

I know I will probably get yelled at for this, but this is in my opinion the most beautiful car out there. The P1800 have always had a place in my heart and THIS... this work of art is almost to much to take in. I know what I will be saving for.

This is one of the best 4cyl's I've heard.

I am head over heels in love with this car. My grandfather had an original P1800 and he would have loved this.

Such a gorgeous car, topped off with an impeccable attention to detail. Even the engine bay looks so clean with almost no wires in sight, love it..

Ok, disregard my last comment. That 2.0L turbo 4 cylinder is perfect for that chassis.

Honestly, even the original car was fun to drive. Had one in the family for 30 odd years. I can only imagine how good the Cyan is 👍

It’s such a nice car

Seems like every time I watch this channel, I can’t help but notice that there’s something different that I don’t get with any other channel and I keep coming back here. I love the content you guys produce!

Reminds me so much of my dad's 67 1800S. I won't be able to pull off the Cyan, but maybe I can restore the old '67. Thanks for posting. This took me back, although the old motor has way less HP it was still incredible to drive.

This is incredible, I absolutely love restomods.Keeping classics in original condition is very cool and respectful, but making a classic good enought to compete with modern sports cars is just amazing.

This car is pure madness and the roads you are driving it on are perfectly suiting for that beautiful car

When he's on the Autobahn, you can literally see how much power the car has. At 210 it was still pulling without a sweat. This is the dream car for me personally

My grandad passed away a few months back. He had one of these in 1975 and crashed, splitting the car in 2 from just behind the seat. By not wearing seat belts, both him and my nan survived and was in the papers. He would of been amazed this video.

This is not a car for those new money supercar blondie type of people. This is a car for people like jay leno. Those who really understand and appreciate the mechanical side of the automobile

I saw it sometimes ago on Instagram by chance but I couldn't imagine there was such a project behind. I don't like old cars but old with modern touch I love.

A man I worked with like 15 years ago spent year making an 1800 into mint condition. And once that was done he started with an old alfa, but cant remember which it was and was all in parts at that time. Loved that guy, most pedantic guy Ive ever met when it came to vehicles

Spot on with the analyse. This area is perhaps also something to look forward to. There are many nostalgic cars that could make an excellent starting point for a restomod. Who needs a 1500hp hypercar, when you can have something even better. The feeling of a real car.

sense its got no abs or traction, its not really made to drive in the rain but there is probably like a drain tube if water gets into them

@@jonniemiec4633 cars from the 80s and earlier didn't have ABS nor Traction control. They were still driven in the rain... They were still waterproof... So the safety systems don't have anything to do with it. But yes, you can see the drainage at the fuel cap in the video.

I might sound crazy but I feel like the styling could hang with anything from the 60’s. Ferrari, Jaguar, Aston Martin, etc. the dimensions and lines are perfect
