SJ I just named my tiny playful kitten Pipaluk thanks to you. I marinate in names a lot in my spare time and you are a huge part of that so that name wiggled to the surface at just the right time. She’s a white blue-eyed Siamese and I feel like those colors are very Greenland but there’s so many reasons it uniquely fits perfectly. Thank you - you’re still affecting names with these videos years later ❤ (She goes by Pip/Pips/Pipsey/Pipsqueak/Pippy long stocking etc. I just love a name with a million nickname options)

I sometimes have to repeat myself when making introductions, but that usually leads to great conversations about my parent's choice and some good laughs. This is one my husband and I have on our short list of girl's names! Due in October but don't know what we're having so maybe there will be another Elowen around then :)

Purdy could also be written Perdy and be short for Perdita.

Sequoia is definitely a name crush of mine! I think the nickname I would go with for Tallulah would be Lulu.

Hearing what Fei means makes me feel as though it might fit better based on meaning and removing the fear. Thank you

Marvelous list! Jocasta may not be the luckiest of names, with the whole Oedipus thing, but I've always liked it. The only one I couldn't go with would be Aura. It sounds nice, but I've had migraines my whole life, and to me it just means migraine aura :-(

I may not have a child or plan to anytime soon however, I absolutely love watching these videos!

I think Wrenley is a really boho name and I thought it was super cute, but my husband doesn’t like boho so we ended up naming our girl born last November Renley instead. It felt like a more modern/southern version 😂 another boho feeling name (from a relative close to us) is Summerlin, so a cute twist on the name Summer

Millaray is pronounced "mia-rye". A double "ll" in Spanish is pronounced like a "y". Ray at the end isn't pronounced like "ray of light" in English but closer to "rye", like rye bread. While Jocasta is a pretty name, she's the mother of Oedipus in the play Oedipus Rex and she sleeps with her son and then hangs herself. Something to consider before using. And lastly, Musette is a French word, but it means backpack or rucksack.

Good to know but it depends where the child is going to grow up let's be honest. No one's going to pronounce it like that in UK and I like how it sounds in English tbh 👍

I love Indra and it’s at the top of my list spelled “Indre” like the river in France.

My mums nickname is Bobby…. Yet her name is Heather…. Bobby comes from her older brother who was less than 2 yrs old couldn’t say baby to describe her and kept saying Bobby 😂….. nearly 60 years later and it’s stuck! And since then it’s been honoured as a middle name for my nephew so was a way to honour his grandma with only close family knowing.

Eos reminds me of the cosmetic/ lip balm company. Skipper is Gilligan's Island tv series show character and Barbie's little sister. Allegra is an American allergy medication. i'm sure in a different countries or some people "in the states"( US ..USA whatever you call America) is a great name. Evanthe, Cersei, Calico, Talwyn, Indra, Ramone, Vale, Twila, Ceridwen is very cute. Brisa might be cute, it means breeze.

Allegra is a brand of allergy medication in the US, so every time I see it I laugh a little.

I really like both! I’ve always wanted to name my kids with nature names so I love Fern, but Robin sounds so cute and strong too!

My grandmothers name was Alexina, if I were to have a baby girl that would have been her middle name 💕

I love Millaray because it’s almost the same as gamillaraay which is an aboriginal tribe/mob/group/whatever and it’s just great (though I’m biased heh) and it’s pretty and unique too Purdy is the way I say pretty sometimes so it’s super girly Eska is a brand of water here, and Eos is the lippie brand :p (which sadly isn’t vegan…) Sorry but idk about Whimsy, Musette, Skipper, Nixie, Reverie, it’s great for a furbaby or fairy or something but wouldn’t work in life (in this age) and Hero might be fine for a celeb kid (Hero Fiennes) because he’s a celeb too now but those are asking for bullying then can’t get a normal job if needed… Love them all though! I love E names and I'm pregnant with my second, we won't know the gender until birth but if I have a baby girl I'm considering Elowyn, or Elovie! I've never heard of Elovie or really seen it but I saw Elodie and thought it would be nice with a "V", but I don't know if people would have a hard time with it and find it confusing. I don't want my children to have to explain their names constantly like I've always had to!
