Great tips Chandoo... I've one to share. At 10:16 we can tick "Match entire cell contents" option in the search box to limit our search to 600 or whatever value we want 😉

Sir thanks for this video I have learnd so many things thankyou 🎉
Awesome Mr Chandoo! But can you attached this data set for easy practice pls? It's beautiful presentation.
At your 6:40 you do a sub-sort. I discovered the other day if you do it from the right to the left, you can just click in your Sales column and click AtoZ and then click in the Sales Person column and click AtoZ. For some or other reason if you do it from the left, the one sort just replaces the previous, but in reverse, no need for the Sort Button and adding levels!!
@mramsch

Well, sorting with multiple levels can always be done manually by sorting column by column in reverse order from the last to the first criterion, as the sorting in Excel always retains the current order of the other columns. So for example if you have columns Name County Age, if you want a sorted list of all counties and all persons of a county sorted by age (and then persons of same age should be in alphabetical order), sorting level 1 is County, sorting level 2 is Age, sorting level 3 is Name. Manually you can do that by 1st sorting column Name, then sort column Age, the sort column County (i.e. in reverse order of sorting level). Advantage of using the sort button and multiple levels is, that (e.g. after adding more data records) you can repeat this multi-level-sort with a single click on the (Filter) Reapply button: it also does repeat the sorting!
About 39 (sort multiple key) I suggest a faster way: sort on reverse order. E.g. to order by Person and Sales, just order by Sales THEN by Person.
Thanks
thank you chandu anna

Hi chandoo I am a chartered accountant by profession. I love your videos and had learnt so much from your channel. But nowadays thanks to AI i had lost all the interest on learning new skills and has fall into a pit hole where everyday all I think of is I will lose my job soon. With so many course's out there and so much of misinformation, it would be great if you can come out with a course for people like us.

Thanks Vidhi for your comments. I know this can be concerning but AI still has a long way to go. So, focus on things you can control and enjoy most. I do have a few videos on how to harness AI to do your work well. As the technology evolves I will add more information and resources on this. Stay calm my friend.
Hi! Chandoo. Have been watcing your vidoes for quite sometime. I saw your funtions and formulae keenly as it gives me good understanding and learning from a good teacher. 😍 Thank you.
Hi Chandoo. First question after binge watching your videos over the weekend. Please take a look. I have developed a stock value calculator that has 6000 stocks. I have 6 methods and created a dashboard for summary. But I want to get the results for 40 stocks (can get ticker in text file) and it should be printed to another excel tab or PDF. I can just print one row or two rows of summary for each ticket (no need of fancy dashboard). Meaning -I need to run the excel dashboard (or file) repeatedly 40 times (40 stock tickers with 2 inputs -ticker and market price) and get the valuation summary. What is the trick to do ? Kindly suggest a method. I think I can do this in Python by accessing Excel repeatedly. But do not want to go there yet. How do do in excel is the question.
@chandoo_
9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the love. You can use VBA for this sort of thing. Just maintain the 40 ticker codes in a list and set one at a time to the input cell using VBA loop. Then copy the portion you want to another file. When done, save the new file as PDF.
Oh WOW, #41 is sensational too! 🤩

The Alt key shortcut is something that I'm always confused as to why nobody does this in their Excel videos. After you use it a few times it becomes really easy to use and get things done quickly.
